I loved this place. The bartenders, including the startender, were awesome. The patrons were all friendly, as well. The food was good, I enjoyed the fries I stole from my lil sister especially. Cash only, though, which I actually prefer.

Heads up for tomorrow if anyone doesn’t have plans Bayer’s has a FREE buffet and the new owner blaze is AMAZING!! He is so sweet and sent me home with honey biscuits and let us try his potato salad and homemade stuffing!! He’s the sweetest!!

Stopped by here on a Monday night. There was a nice little crowd and it was karaoke night. Got a drink and chilled. I would say the vibe was very neighborhood bar in all the good ways. Check it out.

I came in Bayer Tavern during St Patrick weekend with my wife and was quickly greeted by the new owner by the name Blaze as we continued talking and having drinks he was coming off on to me and giving me and my wife free drinks then he mentioned that Bayer Tavern will soon have gay nights with drag queen events and that he plans on shaking things up in Gloucester. However he kept talking in double language real sexual guy very very sexual vibes. I left with my wife he invited me back for the next day but I wasn’t comfortable we never came back. One or two bartenders were cool and professional it was some Puerto Rican guy with very thick beard and some white girl who had on a leprechaun costume other than them the Blaze guy was very sexual.

Someone deleted my post. I had called to see if they were going to be open until 9pm. The woman who answered said I'm not sure it's been dead all day might close early. And we have no food. I didn't ask about food since prior to them closing down they didn't serve food. If it says open till 9pm online people will usually go by that. I called and got umm I don't know what time we will close. Poor customer service !
