We’ve lived in Gloucester for 4 years and never tried this place. Husband and I went for a date night/celebrate my new job and we were very impressed! The decor is adorable. The owner caught me taking pictures of the bar, and he gave me some history on it, the tin ceiling tiles, the vintage light fixtures, and the history of the building. Birthday celebration dinner. To be fair, food was great. Service was terrible. We felt rushed to pay the bill at the end of the meal and we 100% were still enjoying coffee and dessert. It was still early (just after 8pm). We addressed this with the manager and zero explanation or apology was offered. Just very disappointing.
Food was phenomenal and servers worked so hard.
