I do not recommend this place at all. There is no ventilation and the kitchen is open so all of the smoke from the kitchen goes to where you are eating and your eyes start to burn. It smells like a dirty grill.
They don’t have any free water, only bottled.
There was only one waiter dude and he was literally doing everything. He was getting take out orders, serving the food and cleaning the tables. Poor guy he needs help it’s a Saturday night. There were only a couple other tables.
I got the chicken sandwich and it was terrible. It was dry and not seasoned at all. The bread was good and the chips were good.
My one sister got a burger and she asked for medium and it was well done. Also her fries were cold so she asked for fries that were hot…
My eyes are still burning.
Did I mention the vents were so dirty and there was a broken window.
There were 5 cats sitting out front.
Anyway I won’t go back. I smell bad and I’m still hungry.
I forgot. It also took an hour and there were only 2 other tables. One whole hour to get our food.
There were real flowers on the table though

Parking: Small parking lot but plenty of spots

Kid-friendliness: I heard there were no boosters. Also the kids menu had hot dog and fries for $10 and chicken fingers and fries for $14

Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchairs because there are steps

We waited more than 20 min. Chicken fingers and fries from children's menu were not for kids. Dark, fat and dry chicken. The grilled chicken in sandwich was black like they didn't clean the grill. It is horrible taste! No ventilation inside and the smell was worth. Never eat here again!

Arrived at 11:30 on a Friday. No staff. We were told by a woman who said she was there picking up food that we couldn't order. One other table looking confused. We sat there for 10 minutes and rather than take our own order and cook it ourselves we left.

What a cute little spot! We are so happy we stopped in. I got the veggie melt and my husband got the shrimp wrapped in bacon. Both were absolutely amazing! Can't wait to go back! Go see for yourself. You won't be disappointed ??

This place is a gem that we're glad we stumbled across. The food was absolutely delicious--I definitely had the best veggie melt of my life. The hand-cut fries and chips were great, as was the dessert we ordered!

It might have just been the day we arrived, but the food took an hour to arrive. The staff was friendly while we waited and did give us small updates on how the food was doing. It was a long and hot wait, but ultimately the food was worth it.

Stopped in for quiet bite to eat while staying in Villas for the night. Cute little place. The poutine fries were amazing. Homemade gravy was so good we were scraping the plate clean. We ordered Chicago hot dog and Southern Fried chicken sandwich. Both were delish! The pickles spears we were able to tell were homemade and fresh and so good. Already decided we’ll be back next time we are nearby.

Delicious find on our way towards the beach. Unassuming small cafe feel with a surprisingly tasty menu. The chef & owners were friendly & talented. The menu options were classy, seasonal, varied. Nice history of the restaurant roots in articals on the walls. Presentation & taste satisfied everyone, kids & adults. What a special find. Stumbled in after visiting Jersey Shore Alpacas a block down. Visit both!

Kid-friendliness: Excellent kid menu without sacrificing taste

Absolutely fantastic experience at Two Black Dogs Cafe! We stopped in on a whim on our way home from the zoo, and everything was delicious. The price point was beyond reasonable for the serving size and quality. Everyone in our group was impressed with their meals, mine being the veggie melt. 10 out of 10. The spinach artichoke dip was unlike any we ever ate, and came with both tortilla chips and bread. Nice touch! There was so much that we scooped it up with our chips and fries once the food came. Everything was perfectly seasoned.

My husband was excited to eat a Cuban and see a reuben (his nephew's order) that was truly a sandwich and not "an open-faved plate of slop." He is very particular about this, so I figured I'd mention it for those who share the same idiosyncrasies.

The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and efficient. I am so glad we decided to stop here. This cafe is a true gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!
