I'm giving Lau's a 4 out of 5 cause their food was decent. We wanted to eat at the outdoor set-up but the last available 3 seater or more was reserved. However, eating indoor was not a great experience. Music was extremely loud you could not hear each other, scene was a bit dark, a bit warm, and floor cleaner was a bit overwhelming when you walk in. There are more to note, but will be nice since our waiter whom is also a bartender/ server was very nice. Will be looking forward to eating outdoor when we return.

This restaurant is absolutely delicious. Food quality is great, fresh and good portion. The menu is not saturated with a bunch of dishes. Customer service is up to par. Good energy!

Nice place, the air is filled with loud Latin music on a Friday night so maybe not appropriate for people wanting to have a conversation at the table. Food was fantastic though and priced reasonably. I had the tilapia in a tasty sauce and came with some veggies, avocado and lots of limes. Side dish rice and beans which were very good also.

Lau's is a great place to drink and have nice eats. The staff is amazing and the ambience is very good. Sometimes the music is a little too loud - that's my only complaint. Try the cheese board, bruchetta board, and the ceviche. All delish and have generous portions.

They claim the wings are fresh but it's not. I even asked the waiter if it was freshly made and he replied yes. It looked and tasted like it was microwaved. So damn disappointed.

Tried the following:Churrasco paisa (colombian dish with skirt steak) - amazing flavor, perfectly cooked, enough to share or for one person if really hungry.Sancocho de Gallina (hen soup) - Not too heavy, salty or overly seasoned. Perfect amount of hen and soul, accompanied by rice and avocado.Chicharrón (crispy pork rinds) - crunchy, salty delicious and more than enoughChicken wings - crispy and delicious

This is a hidden gem. . IM AMAZED.. this place is so amazing . The food and service is outstanding. Very pleasurable experience. The laus tostones, Buffalo chicharron and their fries are to dye for... if I can give them more than five stars I would. We came just for drinks and appetizers as we were waiting for reservations at rumba cubanas and we were so amazed that we canceled rumba cubana to enjoy our diner here.

The Lau's Tostones ($8) are my absolute favorite. They are 4 large warm tostones each topped with cold guacamole, spinach dip, (the world's best) Bruschetta, and crab dip. It's so delicious and I order it as an entree every time. I didn't give 5 stars because my husband really didn't like his Buffalo sauce appetizer and 2 of the drinks he ordered had a bug in both of them. Nevertheless the staff are friendly and the Lau's tostones are delicious so I keep going back!
