Went here based on reviews, and it held true. One of the best NY strips I've had and the homemade cheesecake was amazing. Great neighborhood gem that you must try. When I'm back in town, I'm definitely coming back.

My husband and I wanted to have a small dinner with our family for our wedding. We went to Kunkles and WOW! Carol blew it out of the park…. She took our idea from a small dinner to a beautiful wedding. We had our ceremony there and the most beautiful wedding I could have ever dreamed of. From the moment I met Carol I felt like my mom was planning my wedding for me. She was so sweet and kind. She treated me like her own daughter. Never once did she make me feel like an inconvenience, she worked with me every step of the way. Denese, Jenny, Ree and the rest of the Kunkle’s staff…. I can not thank you enough for everything you did to make our day so amazing. I did not have a wedding party but these girls made my feel like they were my best friends and bridesmaids by giving me suggestions, setting up the restaurant, replenishing my drink, and making sure everything was on time and PERFECT. Everyone who attended the wedding was talking about how lovely the staff was and the FOOD!!!! Oh my goodness the food!!! It was out of this world. Words can not express the gratitude I have for the people who work at kunkles. They made my day so memorable…. I can not thank you enough for everything you did for us.

2/17/24-530PM Party of 11We gather once a month for a bday ? and you get to pick where you want to go, plus everyone splits the tab except you (after all it is your bday).Tina picked Kunkle's, everyone enjoyed what they had. Our server Jenny was spot on with her ability to deal with so many people and personalities, she's quite awesome with keeping a conversation during her work too! My wife Melanie had a stuffed pork chop and mine was Chicken Marsala, carrots, green beans. Food was delicious and be mindful to leave room for dessert OMG cheesecake we split but between us couldn't finish it. Next time we'll know because I'm thinking about going back as I'm typing ?

Went here last night. They were fairly busy. Big party celebrating a birthday. They kept our drinks filled for the most part. We ordered. Got our salads quickly. I kept mine bc I wanted to eat it with my meal. ONE hour later and 4 people (one server asked me twice) asking me if my salad was done to which I replied "I'm eating it with my meal" our food came, we asked for our checks and boxes as we got them. The owner maybe or the manager, lady in a non staff outfit, came up at the end asked how everything was and said hope we didn't have to wait too long. One person said "we waited over an hour to get our food after we ordered." She replied "that's not too long, you think that's long?" We politely said yes and just went on our way. So if you want okay food, waiting an eternity, and unapologetic or maybe I'd even go as far as ignorant (at least the lady we spoke with) staff, THIS is your place!

Hard pass. Almost a three hour dinner. Way too long. An hour and 20 minutes before we even got any food. Beef was so dry. Owner kept calling me hon/hun. Only thing that was good was the bread which we didn’t get until we were sitting for a hour. No cell service, no WiFi so couldn’t check on my kids without going outside. My husband and company enjoyed their food but was steak and seafood that we can get other places that i enjoy much more. Will not return here.
