Don’t give me a check without a pen and I will throw it. Lame service deserves blame explanations

Spent a very enjoyable weekend afternoon at Reunion Hall. Great beer selection. Had several beers and a very good hamburger.

The chicken sandwich I had was good, but there were some hiccups with the orders of other members of the group's meals, unfortunately. (Someone asked for only the buffalo sauce on the side because they can't do a lot of spice and instead their sandwich came out with EVERYTHING on the side EXCEPT buffalo sauce which was poured on top so much so there was a puddle in the basket it was served in.) The mozzarella sticks were okay, but the marinara dipping sauce was ice cold and we'd already ordered two baskets for the table after we were told there was only "4 or 5 sticks" in an order. (There were about 7 sticks in an order for those curious, and they're the thicker, frozen style so they're filling.)

The menu options are limited, but there are a good amount of gluten free and vegan options if looking for that. Overall it's a nice spot to grab a quick bite and drinks. It's a fairly large venue with lots of open air space and a decently sized list of mostly local beers to try.

Despite the hiccups with some of the orders, I'd try it again so it still gets 5 stars.

Avoid this place at all costs. The hosts are rude, and the bartender displayed unprofessional behavior, even putting their hands inside their sweatpants between serving drinks. The dress code for a bartender—sweatpants—was also shockingly inappropriate. We requested to sit outside at 3:30 pm, only to be told a private party was scheduled for 6:00 pm and that we had to vacate by then. Despite the ample time before the party, we weren’t allowed to have drinks or food delivered outdoors, and were repeatedly reminded to leave by six, making us feel like an inconvenience. It was akin to being in a store closing down, constantly told to wrap up. We received more reminders to leave than actual service. The place is also overpriced and quite dirty. To make matters worse, upon leaving, two managers were smoking directly at the entrance, blocking the doorway and dismissively ignoring customers coming and going. It’s clear paying customers are not a priority here. I strongly recommend steering clear of this establishment.

This place was okay, a very confusing setup. I think they have three different restaurants within the restaurant but the same server for all of them. If you're confused after that last sentence that only begins to open you up to understanding how confusing it was for us. More so they charge a food fee when you order food from a waitress because I guess they don't work for the food vendor they work for the establishment. Also for a place that has 50 beers on tap they don't have a flight option, which would be great. I think that this place is great in theory but hard in reality. I won't be going back but don't let that hold you from trying it out. Just not my cup of tea

Great idea to use 3 different restaurants at one place. Especially with the addition of vegan food, it makes eating out with non vegans much easier. The vegan mushroom tacos and nachos were so good. The drinks are also good

Excellent craft beer selection, 56 taps! (Order by tap number) In a cool large beer hall. I personally enjoy that they frequently feature beers from The Seed in Atlantic city, but they feature a lot of NJ beers.

Also an interesting kitchen situation with 3 mini kitchens running different menus a vegan taco kitchen, a chicken place, and local standards that has burgers and cheesesteaks.

Recently a new wine and cocktail program i don't know much about.

The double smash burger from Local Standard is killer. I’m not usually one for simple burgers, I like the works. I just add caramelized onions to the existing cheese and pickles and it’s truly perfect. I’ve been back a few times for that burger alone!

Service tonight was a mess.

We were seated right away, only to sit for 10-15 minutes with no one approaching us (or making eye contact).

I went up to the bar to let them know, and they immediately assumed we sat ourselves. Once I explained that we were seated by the host (two young guys who were obviously disinterested in their job), the bartender let me know he’d grab someone immediately.

5 minutes later, he looked over and asked if someone had helped us. I mouthed no, and he mouthed an annoyed curse word. I appreciated that he followed up…

20 minutes in, and tables seated after us received their drinks and apps.

Finally, Erin came over. She was lovely. We placed our order, and quickly received our drinks.

5 minutes later, a food runner brings us the wrong food. It was another tables. We send it back…

15 minutes later, our food arrived. My 6 year old ordered wings (what 6 year old wants wings, right?). Unfortunately, chicken fingers arrived for him. We sent them back.

10 minutes later, and we hadn’t seen Erin. She was obviously covering inside and outside, so I couldn’t blame her. Who has servers working on opposite sides of the restaurant? I approached the bartender again, because I didn’t know if the food runners knew to refire the wings. They didn’t….

The manager came over, and asked what the problem was. I explained most (but not all) of the above. He told me we should have not seated ourselves. I informed him we hadn’t, and my wife doubles down (nicely) that the host even moved the table and chairs for us, and put the menus on the table.

The manager replied “well someone is lying to me”. Without an apology, he leaves, never to be seen again.

10 minutes later, my sons wings arrive. My food is cold (i ate half…), and his food is to hot to eat. I burn my fingers trying to get the chicken off the bone, to cool faster.

The food was decent. The bartender was nice. Erin was nice. She took the wings off the bill.

I’m hoping no one spit in our food after all of that…

The host stand were terrible. The manager was indignant and borderline rude.

I’m not sure if he believed us or his host stand, but he’s welcome to check the footage on the camera to show that we were seated by his host. August 30th at about 5:15pm…

$100 with tip, and we tipped on the original amount. That was after they took $14 off…

All in all, I’ll probably go back. My kids liked the food and the patio, and my vegetarian wife likes the menu. But it’ll be a while…

So, the wife and I stopped here for a somewhat early dinner. The place was empty except for a few tables, but people were coming in. There is outside seating as well with a bar, which is nice. The menu is limited but has a good selection of vegan choices, burgers and chicken . Also, their beer selection is vast. I had General Tso's fried chicken sandwich and the wife had the gochujang wings and loaded tots. The food was tasty. After the meal, we get the check and there is a "food service charge" on the bill. It was not alot , I think $1.35 but that kinda threw me for a loop. What is that for? I asked the waitress and she had no idea it was on the checks. And, we paid cash, so it wasn't a cc surcharge. It felt like they were trying to pull a fast one and sneak another charge to the bill. I would rather you just roll it into the price of the food. You are a restaurant and part of the food service industry. I see no reason to add this to the bill even though it is only a buck or 2. We read that you can ask to have it removed and they have to accommodate you.
