Am I missing something? Did I go to the wrong place? My dogs could barely eat the pizzas. Dried out cardboard is all I can compare them to. And don’t get me started on the old world sandwich. It was burnt toast with a few slices of pepperoni on it. A total waste of my hard earned money. Sad. If I wasn’t so tired, I’d get in my car, drive it back there, and make them try to eat it in front of me.
I’m not sure how this is my first time writing a review but boy do I have a lot to say about this place… never in my life have I been met with such phenomenal service, food, and atmosphere while dining in a restaurant. It’s not an understatement to say that me and my family come to Tacconellis every week. The salads are refreshing and tasteful, the pastas are so clearly homemade, and the pizza is to die for. Don’t get me started on the desserts. The waitresses are so incredibly welcoming and always make a point to stop by our table for a quick chat. I recommend this place 100000x over for anyone on the fence. See y’all on Saturday!!! ;)

Mediocre pizza with and attitude. I've been to this place on many occasions. I've never written a review, but yesterday was very disappointing. The service was extremely slow. The pizza was average at best. and we asked to move to another table 10 ft. away and told it was reserved. The table was not filled until we were almost done dinner. We won't return.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews but I just have to. My husband and I cannot stop raving about the amazing service we had with our dinner tonight 9/18/24. Renna was our server and she was such a delight. She went above and beyond and made our experience so pleasurable. As we were walking out the door she came out to say goodbye and after we were in our car, she ran out with our box of pizza we left on our table. Our bill was only $35 we left her a $20 tip but after she came out with our food. I had to run back in and give her more. She deserves it. She’s such a hard worker and takes her job seriously. We absolutely loved her and hope to come back soon and see her smiling happy face again. 10000000/10.

Wish I could leave a review on the food, but unfortunately, never made it past the front. We were not greeted at all by the 5 young, girls at the front. Just stares and awkward behavior. I understand the restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening, but with that many staff, someone should know how to operate the flow of business. After awkwardly being looked at for 10 mins, one girl finally said “I’ll be with you in just a minute”. She never came back and not another word. Very disappointed because we really wanted to try their food but the hosting area was such a red flag.

I was unaware that this business only accepted cash. There were no signs posted anywhere until I received the menu, which mentioned it at the bottom. It would have been helpful if this information was made known at the restaurant’s entrance and elsewhere. Additionally, they have a nonworking ATM at the entrance, so I had to cross the busy Haddon Ave to go to a store across the street to withdraw money. The overall experience was good, but I am unsure if I would return. We were served a glass with water that was broken, and it took a while to have it replaced. Considering the inconvenience and the need for cash, I might choose to go elsewhere next time.

Super pizza. Firm base not too crispy. Had the red pie with two toppings, and a cup of hot peppers. Family also enjoyed theirs. Got a couple of bottles of wine from across the street too.
So my wife and I went to Tacconelli’s for the first time because we heard it was very good pizza. We got there at 4:15pm. We sat down and our waitress came over and asked if we needed wine glasses and I said no we brought beer. She came back about 5-10 mins later and asked if we were ready to order. I asked for some beer glasses. She came back with the beer glasses and asked if we were ready to order and I asked if she could give us a couple of minutes. She said sure. We waited for 15-20 mins and I was just about finished my beer. There were maybe 3 tables when we were there. I’m not sure why there was such a delay in our service. Anyway, we just left. Not going back, they’re pie can’t be that good.

Amazing pizza and phenomenal customer service. Kudos to our fantastic server, Renna, who was attentive and very kind. Pizza is delicious and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend. We went with 3 adults and 3 kids and polished off 3 pies easily. The summer seasonal corn (we got without pepperoni) was so so delicious
Kid-friendliness: Great for kids. Paper cups with lids

The best pizza and home made pasta I've had in SJ. You can tell the dough endures a longer fermentation process than the average pizza spot. Highly recommend.

Always consistently great! I've tried many other pizza places with brick , fire, coal ovens . But taccs is hands down the best . I ordered the shrimp in a scampi sauce .. I had to tell the waitress to tell whoever made it that it was the best I've ever had.. it was amazing
