We were quoted a 30 minutes wait. After about 45-50 minutes and watching multiple parties come in after us sit, we asked if we were next on the list. Turns out we weren’t even on the list even though I had received a text quoting the 30 minute wait and the other host said she remembered me checking in. We were told we would be sat next, but they continued to check people in and push two tables together for a larger party while we waited an additional 10 minutes. It’s busy and we expected to wait on a Saturday- but to not even apologize about the error on their part and make us wait even longer didn’t sit right with me. It was an hour from the original text when we finally got our seat. The food is really good if you’re willing to deal with the chaos upfront at the host-stand.

Café Lift in Haddonfield has officially become my new go-to breakfast and lunch spot! Everything on the menu looks amazing, and it was so hard to choose. We ended up having lunch, and it was beyond great. I tried the chicken cutlet sandwich on their homemade focaccia bread, and it was absolute perfection—so fresh and flavorful. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere.
