I visited today with my wife and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I ordered the cannoli French toast with a side of bacon, and my wife had French toast with berries and coffee. My first cup of coffee had a fruit fly in it, and while the waiter quickly replaced it, the second cup was cold and not fresh. To make matters worse, there were numerous fruit flies/gnats around our table, and we spent more time swatting them away than actually enjoying our food. The bacon was extremely overcooked, and overall, the meal did not meet expectations. The only highlights were the water and the staff — the waitress and team were very friendly and welcoming. Sadly, this will be my first and last time dining here.

Terrible experience at the café loft. The portion sizes are ridiculously small for the price — I paid $24 for one egg, three pieces of bacon, and soggy French toast. On top of that, they forgot to make my order in the first place, which added even more time to an already disappointing visit. Definitely not worth the money or the wait.

The drinks were well-made and enjoyable, and I found the staff to be attentive, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience with the food wasn’t as positive. I ordered the chicken cutlet sandwich, and it turned out to be overly greasy with a strong taste and smell of stale oil, which made it difficult to enjoy. It was disappointing, especially given the otherwise nice service and atmosphere.
That said, I don’t want to judge the entire menu based on just one dish. I plan to give this place another try and order something different next time, in the hopes of having a better experience.

Food was Okay, service not do much, the soup came out with the meal instead of before, asked for the sauce on sandwich on the side, Fail! It was near closing time , saw the waitress frequently look to see if we were done, but couldnt seem to flag her down for a drink, Dry sammy no drink? Boooooo

A bit loud for a weekday brunch, but the food was great and inventive and service was good.
I’ve been here twice now. Easiest parking is in the rear off of Centre or Chestnut. Great place to meet up with friends or even go by yourself and sit at their coffee bar. There is also outdoor seating.
The first time I went there I had a special and it is no longer offered - but it was fantastic. This recent time that I went, I shared Jen’s Crespelle and the Lemon Ricotta pancake and a side of potatoes with my mom. We were full and it was delicious. My mom raved about their balsamic dressing on the salad. Overall very pleased. It’s pricey but worth it - if it’s just a treat. We also had two cappuccinos which were perfect. Ooo also - it is a byo, in case you want to have a little morning mimosa. Hope this helps - please give me a like if it does!
