Very cute shop with a nice selection! They fresh bake their cookies daily and they do sell out so make sure you get there early if you want to try one of everything like I always do. The cookies are big and somehow soft in every bite, even the edges! Staff is always friendly and the variety is excellent!

Fran at Downtown Cookies was just so lovely to chat with! Friendliest associate on this street. And the cookies were great.

The staff was awesome. I went in during the craft festival looking for a cold drink and they greeted me with a smile and helped me quickly decide on a cold drink. While we were there, we ordered some chocolate chip cookies, and they were delicious. My iced coffee was perfect. Such a sweet place.

The cookies were good but they all tasted very stale or some other weird taste. I was disappointed, my boyfriend also thought they had that taste. Maybe we got a bad batch

Rude woman at the counter. She acted like she couldn’t be bothered by my purchase.

Stopped in a Sunday. My husband and I were at the brewery a couple doors down and I was in the mood for something sweet. The cookies were $4 each but on the large side. Enough that I bought 3 and broke them into 4 pieces for my husband and I to share. I got the Oreo cookies & cream, peanut butter & chocolate and their St. Patrick's Day cookie that had Andes mints. They are firm and almost cake like but all 3 were delicious. The price would keep me from coming in often but it was nice for a special treat!

Giving this 3 stars because it’s just not my preference—I prefer gooey cookies, and these were a bit firmer than I’d like. Tried the Chocolate Chip and Salted Caramel; between the two, I preferred the Salted Caramel, though I would have liked it better without the chocolate chips.

That said, my husband really enjoyed the Chocolate Chip, so if you like that style of cookie, it’s worth a try. No line when I visited on a weekday, and I’d love to see more creative flavors in the future—something like Salted Caramel with macadamia nuts would be amazing!

Cookies were good, didn’t mind the $4 cost since they were big and delicious. However, just a word to the wise to go no where near closing time. When my family walked in after dinner, 15 minutes before closing, we were told ā€we’re about to closeā€ as we were about to sit down to share. Kinda felt like a nice way of saying please leave. I get it, they probably didn’t want to clean up again, but not sure if the folks who were eating when we walked in or even the ones walking in after us got the same friendly warning.
