This is by far the best food I've had in a very very long time. Like what the heck. I can't believe this place is walking distance.

We went for their Tuesday-Thursday 3 Courses for $40 special. The portions were a great size and the food was delicious. Short rib app was decadent, grilled veggie burrata app could have been a meal, homemade pasta with the Bolognese so good, and a killer homemade lemoncello cake with yummy ice cream for dessert! Everyone loved everything they ordered. A great deal for the money! The waitress was really nice and helpful. Only 20 or so seats so make a reservation!

Italian short rib was pretty bland. The cheese needed to be sharper or added salt. Or maybe it's because they forgot the long hots and were expecting that to take up the flavor.
Rigatoni vodka was really good. Nice texture, nice sauce, very flavorful. I've been comparing other Italian places to this as my new standard for great pasta.
Chocolate banana bread pudding supposedly comes with caramel sauce and chocolate sauce. It was somehow still pretty dry. Dense and heavy, cuts with a knife really well, but dry. Would do well soaked in condensed milk or something. Maybe they forgot the caramel sauce too or it was too little and was just absorbed into the bread.
No parking, there's a few tables inside for seating.
Doesn't take tap to pay, or chip. Cash or swipe. Swipes super insecure though so maybe just bring cash.
We are big fans of their pizza but tonight we decided to dine in. My husband got Gnocchi Bolognese and I got Spaghetti Della Nonna which was spaghetti w escarole and beans. Both were absolutely delicious and can’t wait to return.

Gnocchi with short ribs melts in your mouth! We tried the octopus special salad with mussels, very tender with bold flavors.. Highly recommend, reservations recommended 👍 Tried two sandwiches to go, Shortrib with assorted mushrooms, fried onions , and white creamy cheese and Cheesesteak with onions.. Both were on seeded homemade bread packed with meat!! I now have a go to!! Very impressive so glad to pass on this great find👍

Excellent home made specialties.
Love Nocella’s takeout, but try dining in at their restaurant. As always, food is always better at the source. They continue to make one of the area’s best pizzas (IMO). Try any of their dishes with the burrata. So glad we have them in our neighborhood.

This is now our go to pasta restaurant. House made pasta is awesome. Had the spicy rigatoni vodka and a special veal nocella which was tender veal cutlets with prosciutto with a fried egg over house made spaghetti in an Alfredo sauce Took home a pepperoni Stromboli for the Super Bowl
Tip for anyone placing an order for a family meal for the next day. Placing the order online unfortunately does not guarantee your order. If they sell out of your item, like they did for me, they will just text you a cancellation 20 minutes before you scheduled your pick up. In my case it was for a family dinner so it was seriously disappointing as I ordered a full day before. The food is great but I will never order via their online option again. If you want assurance you need to call.

Went to Nocella for the 3rd time with friends who had never been there. Previous visits were great. No so this time. The new menu was less appealing. Many entrees included Calabrian peppers, sausage, long hot peppers and other add ons that were too overpowering. Very limited fish and veal options. Alot of breading with some dishes that my gluten intolerant wife couldn't enjoy. One pasta dish was crab and Calabrian pepper. I was interested but felt that the pepper would overpower the crab. The chef is a good cook but the menu was a bit too exotic. Italian food should be simple ,fresh and uncomplicated . We will return and hope too see veal or chicken piccata, pasta bolognese, mannicota and other options that resemble " Nonnas" cooking.
We recently ordered the Saturday Happy Hour for a large group and were extremely pleased. The food was delicious! We will be ordering again very soon!
