Wonderful food and fabulous service! A lot of fun!
Today I had the corn beef Ruben sandwich and it was spectacular! Meats cooked to perfection, juicy and excellent sauce on toasted bread. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!

The British Chip Shop offers crispy Fish & chips and decent Welsh rarebit. Customers enjoy Haddock, battered sausage with chips, and curry. The portion of chips could be bigger, but the fish is often praised as the best fried fish ever. The restaurant is not obnoxiously decorated, creating a relaxed atmosphere with a fun British vibe. The food is flavorful, with tasty fish and chips served with a sweeter tartar sauce. The large cod is highly recommended, and the fish is consistently fabulous. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond, making visitors feel welcomed. During busy times, only one server handles everything, but she manages well, racing around to care for customers efficiently. The music adds to the nostalgic vibe, with classics like The Clash playing twice, and there are great brews to enjoy. The scones have jam but no cream, and the service can be a bit slow when busy, but overall, it’s a place that brings back memories and offers a good experience. The fried Haddock and chips, Bangers and Mash, and Chip Shop Sarnie have all received high praise, with many customers already planning to return. The disco fries are insanely good, and the healthy field greens are also appreciated. For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding is a popular treat. Overall, it’s considered one of the best chippies outside of London, offering authentic flavors and a fun British atmosphere.
