I love their fish and chips. And if you want to be healthier, the field greens are delicious. The disco fries are insanely good. To finish the meal, make sure you try their scones with a spot of tea! They have a variety of flavors, all fresh, served butter or clotted cream and jelly. Delish!

One of the BEST chippies this side of the Pond -- if not better than some in London. Fantastic, fresh, authentic flavors. The fish is fabulous. Every. Time. And if you are really good, treat yourself to a sticky toffee pudding. You're welcome -- but build in some extra gym time if you so dare! 😉

I visited with my party of 4 on a Saturday during the city art festival. The food was favored highly by all members of my party. The restaurant was extremely busy. With that said, there was only one server. 1. Age was taking orders, bussing table running the register, and dealing with a restaurant full of angry and demanding customers. I felt sorry for the individual. She spent every second, explaining the situation, getting side eyed, and attitudes. It was explained that the 2 girls that were there with her were the owners' daughters. They were helpless in that they needed direction and guidance on everything. They were reluctant to help bus tables, seat customers, and take orders. They didn't even know how to run the register. As good as the food was, I will not and can not support and establish that it allows and / or inflicts this kind of abuse on their employee/employees. That young lady, through it all, smiled and worked. The owners owe her a debt of graditude. Keep your head up.

Fish and chips for the win! I had the small plate and it was plenty. My dining partner had haddock and chips that covered the whole plate! Service was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! Easy parking on the street. We sat outside at one of several tables on a pleasant evening.
