I visited the establishment a few days ago and can't think of anything they could of done differently. I had the toast and mushroom, deviled eggs, escargot, duck breast and sea scallops. One of the best meals I have has in a long time. I loved every minute of it. It was a great night out.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! An amazing meal from start to finish! I cannot remember having a meal like this in a very long time. Absolutely amazing service and the food was sublime. Thank you! We will be back shortly!!!

Wandered in without a reservation and had a delicious, authentic French dinner here the other night. Wanted to be sure to leave a review because the food was not only delicious and service was great, but they were also very accommodating of my gluten allergy. They walked me through my menu options (which there were plenty), and I had the duck and asparagus, which were super tasty. Only thought was that the price point was a bit steep, but we could have definitely split an entree with an app or two to help with cost.

Dietary restrictions: Accommodated my gluten allergy with no issues! Lots of gf options.

For my birthday present, my oldest son took me out on a dinner date to The Little Hen. The food and service was incredible. We started with the escargot and shrimp appetizers and we both had the duck for our entree. Everything was cooked perfectly. I need to find a reason to go back…soon.

This is my favorite restaurant. I love french food but even if you are not a fan there are options that will satisfy anyone. I live about an hour away but make the journey just to eat the duck frites. Beautiful, humble atmosphere, reminds me of my grandmas house. I’m always excited to go back.

The food was wonderful… I don’t think the french fries were anything exceptional… But the grilled carrots were amazing and the crêpe dessert was off the scale. The thing that seemed to be lacking was atmosphere. It was very noisy - No ambience whatsoever. So if you can get past that you’ll have a good meal!

A wonderful dinner for my wife and I. It is a lovely small restaurant with the kitchen right near the dining area. The courses came out at a pace that made for a very enjoyable dinner. We were able to enjoy each course and some time for the two of us before the next came out. We had vichyssoise with scallops, sautéed radish, mushroom toast, the duck, and steak. For dessert we had the crepe cake. All were phenomenal and loaded with flavor, and the duck and steak were cooked a perfect medium rare. This restaurant is a gem.

This little BYO was such a great find - small quaint dining room reminiscent of the French countryside. Food was authentic and the chef even came out to tell us about the fromage and other dishes we ordered. The dishes were imaginative and on point. A must visit for anyone looking to dine downtown in Haddonfield. We'll definitely be going back!

Very good food in a small, intimate and cutesy decorated dining room. Very friendly chef and waitstaff.

Parking: There's paid on the street parking as well as a pay parking lot a few steps from the restaurant entrance.

We always love The Little Hen anytime my wife and I go! Chef Alan and his crew, including Kyle who runs the front of the house, all are amazing! We had a very intimate wedding at City Hall and had our reception dinner with immediate family at The Little Hen and everyone could not stop raving about the food! Highly recommend for a date night, dinner with family or friends, or a private event!
