We had a wonderful experience on a Saturday evening at Verona. The opportunity to sit outside cafe style on a beautiful night in Haddonfield says it all. The food and service was fantastic. Our waiter “Bar”always makes the evening enjoyable. My wife had the Halibut (huge portion) and I had the Orecchiette Barese “broccoli rabe - hot italian sausage - cherry tomatoes - white wine garlic” which was beyond delicious. We even ordered dessert to go. Verona never disappoints.
Fantastic authentic Italian! First, our server Shawn was spot on in his attentiveness, food recommendations, timing and dessert recommendations. The appetizers were outstanding, especially the fried tomato and the mussels red. The ricotta stuff gnocchi and shrimp was excellent. The penne vodka (add shrimp) was perfect. Both came out piping hot. And save room for the tres lechevanills cake-OMG!
Verona is a perfect spot for dinner in Haddonfield. The food is consistantly good, although portions sometimes vary. But the service is excellent and the owner is on site and attentive to her patrons.
