The 1st few times we enjoyed the food, great service. Then with every subsequent visit, food wasn’t good, embarrassing us twice when we took family. Our final visit, no hostess, stood there for 15 mins., then once seated, no server came to wait on us, waited for 30 mins. & we left, telling the hostess why. She didn’t care. Last visit
Food was ok. Pickle chicken sandwich was good. Fries were cold. An Ithaca beer on tap was $8.50!! Dogfish IPA $9.50. Just a bit steep! Beer is cheaper at a casino in AC!!

Dunleavy's is a lively local restaurant in Lumberton, offering great food and excellent service in a warm atmosphere. The restaurant is suitable for groups and gatherings, but may not be ideal for a romantic dinner due to its lively vibe. The menu features delicious options, including the popular French onion soup. The food has received praise, especially for the patty melt, which is considered one of the best burgers around, reminiscent of a favorite Irish pub in the Bronx. The cozy setting has a log cabin feel with a wrap-around bar, relaxed seating, and TVs everywhere, making it perfect for casual meals or catching a game. A stained glass piece adds rustic charm. The drink selection is impressive, with plenty of drafts on tap, and the friendly staff, including a lively bartender, ensures a great experience. The inside is cozy, with a great bar, food, and service. However, the outside needs attention, as the sign and awnings are dirty and could use a power wash to improve the appearance. The restaurant also offers a 10% veteran discount and is wheelchair accessible, although the doorway may require assistance. Parking is easy, and the inviting atmosphere makes it a good place to watch the games. Guests enjoy the Irish beef and beer sandwich, well-made cocktails, and the rich, chocolaty Guinness pudding.
