Buonocore's Brick Oven Pizza

Super confused by all the rave reviews of this place. The pizza looks nothing like the amazing pictures on here, although I now realize they were posted quite a while ago. Is there new ownership or something?

I'm reallysorry, but I've had better pizza in college cafeterias.

I got the Margherita pie, it was awesome.

Fantastic pizza! Ordered a baked ziti pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza, both were phenomenal and they're definitely getting a repeat customer 👍

I don't normally leave reviews, but this was too bizarre not to. I've heard good things and wanted to try Buonocores. Placed an order with Grubhub, waited over an hour, no food. Finally received a call from Grubhub customer service to notify me that Buonocores not only just called them to cancel my order, but canceled their entire account with Grubhub entirely. I checked, and they did. You can no longer find them via the app. I get wanting to stick it to Grubhub, but I ordered because they were advertising a coupon via GH for new customers. Weird bait and switch there. I just feel that's a really great way to turn a potential new customer in the area away from your business for good. Couldn't have just either canceled immediately or fulfilled the order, THEN canceled your account with Grubhub? Mind blown. Oh well, thanks anyways.

WOW First time coming here and wow I was impressed. Had the buffalo chicken pizza, calzone & chicken parm. Each one was very flavorful and good portion size! Glad I found a new pizza spot!!

What happened to Carmine? New ownership?

The pizza was great. I believe it’s one of the best pizzerias in the area.

A friend recommended this place to me and WOW, it is amazing. Easily my new favorite pizza place and I'm a pizza snob like most people in NJ. Thin crust, wood oven, homemade mozzarella. Not at all fancy so come for the pizza and for a low key vibe.

I went at 7pm to order fried calamari and two slices of plain cheese. To my observation the only two slices that was there were dried as if it has been sitting for hours. They wouldn't make a fresh pie they close in one hour as per the lady attendant. I ask for fried calamari and she stated they didn't have any. That took my appetite away. So I left.

Absolutely delicious pizza and heros. My favorite. You can tell the quality of the ingredients is really high and the skill with which the food is prepared is top notch.
