First time at this location of D’Carbon. I heard it was recently open and it did not disappoint. It’s a small spot full of great food. I ordered the half chicken with rice for take out. The service here was great, very friendly. Another great local eatery for Peruvian food. The rotisserie chicken was seasoned perfectly- juicy and tender. The arroz chaufa was delicious. Salad was great too- enjoyed it with their house dressing. Will come back again to explore the menu.

I have been to many D’carbon restaurants and although this is a smaller location, this is the BEST one. The vibes are intimate, the music is amazing, the service was 10/10, and the food?! Omg the food was so freaking amazing. I had the grilled chicken with salad and yuca frita with fried calamari as the appetizer. My husband had the octopus and he also loved it. The best thing is that this is 2 mins from my house. Love love this place.

The seafood was excellent, and they serve a lot. For the chicken and pork ribs were okay . But I do recommend the spicy sauce(medium spicy) and the maracuya(passion fruit) drink.

We were excited for this restaurant to open in our neighborhood. But, on our bill, all prices were increased by 4% over the written menu. We never saw a notice of a cc fee. Also, an automatic gratuity of 18% was added to the bill, for a party of TWO!!!!!, again WITH NO NOTICE. When we asked, they said it was tips for the servers, but in NJ that is not true, automatic fees go to the employer. Sadly, we will not be returning after experiencing these fraudulent practices.

There are many D’carbons but this one is great as it has a small cozy atmosphere. I definitely recommend trying the “yuca a la huancaína” as it’s very fresh! The waiters were very attentive and came around plenty of times during my visit which I loved most! I definitely will be returning back to this location.

Gran experiencia el Día de la Madre en D’Carbón de Haledon. Excelente servicio! Los gestos y atenciones de las meseras realmente hacen la diferencia en una cena especial. Jhoselyn y el resto del equipo del restaurante son expectaculares en un día tan ocupado como fue el día de la madre. Esos momentos especiales en los que te sientes bien atendido y cuidado hacen que la comida sea aún más deliciosa. Se que tendré muchas más experiencias increíbles en De Carbón y seguiré disfrutando de la comida peruana junto a tu familia y amigos gracias al gran servicio! Gracias Jhoselyn por tus atenciones!
