The $12 daily lunch special is a fantastic deal! According to my waiter they are under new management as of last week. I was in town, visiting from Morris County to see the nearby Labor Museum. I loved the rice, chicken, and plantain most, they were delicious. Please be cautious however because there is a 15% tip automatically applied, and they do offer a lot of extras like drinks and stuff to see if you're interested. Nevertheless I really enjoyed the place. I think would make a good first date type restaurant, or out with the family, and I felt comforrable eating alone at the bar. Although it was empty when I came on a Saturday afternoon.

I loved the concept, the modern decoration was very tropical.
The food was very delicious, the mofongo was not what I expected but everything was delicious.
It had been years since I had tasted such delicious beans, I felt like I was in a field in Santo Domingo. What a flavor my God…
I think they must find a way to find a restaurant because you pass by the front and go unnoticed.
The bathrooms are clean and modern too.
The music is super.
I am very sad that such a beautiful place is not more popular, we have to find a way to increase the audience!

My first impression of this restaurant was how great and top tier it looked. It feels very welcoming and vibrant. A atmosphere that gives cozy yet exciting vibes. The owner and staff have made me feel very welcomed. So much that I’m starting to become a regular. The food of course is delicious. Everything is made to perfection for my taste. Music is always good as well. Overall, this has became one of my favorite spots to eat chill and just have a great time. Me and my family enjoy coming here often.
