Dom behind the bar is very knowledgeable and attentive. 10/10 recommend dining here while he is working. Best experience of my life. Hands down the best bartender I've came across yet.

The ambiance is beautiful and the food is amazing. I opted to sit at the bar since my friends were running late. The bartender who sadly I did not get the name, looks like someone from shameless was very friendly, super attentive and on point with his service. I got the lobster risotto and it was amazing. Will absolutely recommend and visit again

Came here for a dinner with another couple for a nice night out for dinner and this place delivered that experience perfectly. Love the cozy atmosphere our waitress Dawn was great. She had honest n great recommendations she was polite, positive, and very attentive. The food was delicious for I enjoy a beautiful cut and cooked prime rib and my wife enjoyed the eggplant tower. We had amazing buffalo shrimp appetizer was delicious which pair greatly with our refreshing cocktails we enjoyed from a nice selection of specialty cocktails! With dinner we all enjoyed a nice bottle of Cabernet. Delicious food great atmosphere pair with great n attentive service. I would return here again n will be recommending this restaurant to my friends. If u want a nice dinner with drinks n good company this place will not disappoint. I did have reservations being a Saturday night n we were seated quickly right on time. Great n friendly experience from the moment we came through the door. I did not receive any thing for this review nor did they ask for one. I just believe good service n business are hard to find n getting to be more rare so when I find one I believe it should be rewarded and praised. Well done Annata. Great night with great friend’s delicious food and drinks. Thank you!

I just love Annata Wine Bar, ever since opening up!! A friend of mine was asking for recommendations to take his wife for a special occasion and I immediately shared with him. The overall experience is always wonderful! This is why they are pleasantly busy, with extremely friendly and helpful staff that are just like friends and family. The food is incredibly delicious and so worth every penny. I have a soft spot for this amazing restaurant and can't wait to visit again?

Annata is a consistently good, casual-yet-classy joint that radiates a welcome, chill vibe. Everyone looks good in the dimmed light, beneath the spacious ceiling, sipping a cocktail and perusing the leather-bound wine list. Our last visit's highlights included the pork tenderloin, wrapped in prosciutto, and the pappardelle with shrimp. The pork was served medium, with a stripe of pink lining the center of the cut. The prosciutto was expertly rendered-an unctuous, crisp crust. We had some pacing issues, with the calamari coming out just after the Manhattans arrived (is squid a good accompaniment to an exquisitely crafted bourbon Manhattan? Because rye wasn't available-boo! I-don't think so), and our wine order was taken only after our entrées arrived. The service is brisk and the staff knowledgeable. The bleed through from the private party rooms competed with the live entertainment in the main dining room, all of which subtracts from the dining experience when you're looking for some quiet conversation. Annata is a must-try in charming Hammonton.

No stars (I added one because I had to to enter a review, but please know I give them none) but if I could there would be "minus" stars for this place. The first time we came we requested a table near the front when we made our reservations and when we arrived the hostess acted like we were crazy to think such a request could be made. We stuck it out and the service was marginally better, the food "ok" and we left ready to write Annatas off. But a few months later, because our favorite restaurant wasn't open (Rocco's Town House, never a bad experience on 20 years! Yes, twenty! Years!) we found ourselves giving Annatas a second chance. What a mistake! Apathetic service, mediocre food, but the worst came at the end. We didn't want desert, just wanted to finish up and go home, but our youngest son ( a little boy) had his heart set on desert so we asked him to choose something he could take home. He choose "an delicious assortment of luxurious Belgian truffles". He remembered the box I had given my wife and how much he enjoyed them , especially the little diagram inside the box identifying what each chocolate would be. He politely asked if he'd get that with his chocolates and the server said she would write one out for him. When he opened his little container at home there was no note, so he was disappointed , but that was only the beginning . You've probably seen those huge 10 pound for 5 dollar boxes of chocolate Walmart sells at valentines day. The candy, each piece the size of a dime, all tastes the same regardless of the name ascribed to it, and it's just, to be polite, inedible garbage. Well, that is exactly what we got for our 12 dollars or whatever it was we paid. Six pieces(4 of the exact same flavor plus two possible to identify others) of tiny bite size bits of the cheapest chocolates money can buy, and as a chocolate lover, I know what good stuff looks and tastes like. For myself I would be disappointed, but this was my little boy who was still at an age to be excited about such a thing as his desert. I called the restaurant to voice my displeasure. The hostess , who identified herself as one of the owners, told me my decision to never come back was "my prerogative"!!! Needless to say, we employed that prerogative and have never returned, and further, have told this story many many times over the last few years since it happened. I'm happy for the opportunity to tell it to a wider audience.

Was disappointed on my last trip to Annata. Here are the wings as they were served. Almost broke my biting into them.

I wish I could give this place a better review. The food was incredible. The wings were delicious. Italian dishes were extremely flavourful. Wines were decent. But the service was so disappointing. We came out for an expensive, nice anniversary dinner, and we had a vegetarian in our party. They asked about minor alterations to several dishes, even just asking for vegetables, and everything was turned down as impossible by the server. It made the night miserable. I can't express how frustrating it was that the waitress refused to allow something as simple as just getting the vegetables in a dish (since we were willing to pay for the whole dish). Cant recommend this until they make that rightVegetarian options: Not at all friendly toward people with special dietary requestsDietary restrictions: Not at all friendly toward people with special dietary requestsWheelchair accessibility: Accessible, just a little tight moving through because of the size of the chairs used

Annata never disappoints! Everything is always spectacular. From the food to the service and the cocktails are great if you are not a wine drinker.

The 2nd time I’m getting bad food here. Chilean sea bass was rubbery and the pasta with filet minion was super dry. The server didn’t check if I like my replacement, she knew I hated it.

we are frequent patrons of annata's but tonight we have really nothing good to say. we made a reservation at the last minute but did get a table....when we were seated we asked for another table because it was in complete sun, doors wide open and flies everywhere. we were told all the other tables were reserved we went at 5 pm we left at 615 the reserved tables were still open!!! A random couple came in without a reservation the hostess did not turn them away but seated them in a supposed reserved area which we had asked to be seated in and we were told they were reserved . Clearly management needs some work and maybe some proper attire for the hostess.

Had to wait over an hour for our food even with reservations. Food not that good either.
