What can I say? I walked in the door and was engaged by a very friendly young lady who went over the menu with me. I told her I was meeting my aunt for lunch and was waiting for her to arrive before I ordered. As I waited a perfectly coiffed, energetic gentleman with probably the most perfect smile I have ever seen burst into the dining area making a beeline straight for me directing all of his awesomeness at ME! I felt like the most special person on earth! Ricky then took time to explain his menu ideas to me telling me that I would love everything. He was right! I ordered the cuban because in reading reviews it was the most popular it seemed. That pork was 🔥 cooked perfectly and perfectly seasoned! Do yourself a favor, get there yesterday!! Dont sleep on this place! The savory waffle sandwich is a hidden little secret everyone needs to try! I can not wait to go back!

Passed by this spot and had to stop and try!! Hands down the BEST spot I've been to in quite awhile! The atmosphere as well as how friendly and helpful Richard was! Is going to be the reason we definitely will be returning to this spot again! I wish I took a picture of my food but it looked so good I tore right into it and left no crumbs lol my 11 month old son enjoyed it as well I got the bangin brisket. My boyfriend got Lola's Cuban and can I just say WOW!! Please please please come stop by and try this spot out!

Friendly, welcoming, delicious! We were greeted enthusiastically by Ricky, who was so accommodating and helpful. This was my second visit. First visit I had the Cuban which was amazing. I had it in the gluten free waffle which was crispy and delicious. My second visit, my friend and I were looking for breakfast. Ricky offered several options to accommodate us. We both opted for the gluten free sweet waffle with bacon. I wasn’t hungry enough to eat the yummy sandwiches. The bacon was crispy, not at all greasy. The waffle was so good. Will definitely be back.

Funky Cow Café in Hammonton is such a hidden gem! The vibe is fun, cozy, and a little quirky—with chalkboard walls covered in doodles and notes, shelves of books, and playful cow and ghost décor. It has such a welcoming, creative atmosphere that makes you want to hang out for a while.
The food is just as awesome as the space! I had their chicken salad blt sandwich which was stuffed and perfectly toasted—fresh ingredients with a great crunch. We also tried the lettuce wraps topped with colorful slaw and crispy noodles, which were super fresh and flavorful. Everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully put together.
What really stood out was how dog-friendly the café is. Our pup was welcomed with smiles and got plenty of love from the staff. It made the whole experience feel even warmer and more personal.
If you’re in Hammonton, definitely stop in for something delicious and different. Great food, funky atmosphere, and friendly vibes—can’t wait to go back!

i was so pleasantly surprised with my gluten free cuban sandwich!! the waffle was so good it was an amazing texture and the pulled pork was super tender too. it was delicious and the people working were so kind!! the spanish coffee was also so yummy. am absolutely going to return next time i'm in the area!! thank you for the awesome lunch we were so happy to eat here!

Literally writing a review working off my laptop sitting inside the funky cow enjoying my favorite version of a salad - Trash Bowl with chicken! This Cafe is so welcoming and Cozy. the food is TOP TIER. So fresh, and tastes like its made with love (( try it, you'll get what im saying - )). Theres no way you can go wrong by trying this place out. Aside from the great atmosphere, the FIRE food... the Funky Cow really is about community and conversation. How many other Cafes with self seating table service stop what they're doing to check on you mid meal to make sure you're happy? Stop playing and just come get you something you wont regret.
