Had a blast making fresh mozzarella with some guy from Hoboken NJ. Calls himself the Sauce Boss or something like that. 10 out of 11. Owners are super friendly and the backroom is amazing. I felt like I was in a villa on a mountain side someplace in IT LEE.

On Friday we dined in the bar area of Illianos. We were shown to our seats by Cheryl, the hostess. She brought us to the new blue booths in the bar area. She was so nice as she seated us and showed us the new cocktail menu and the night's specials. Dee was our server and she came over with bread as we looked over the menu. She went over the specials and her favorite dishes. She was so welcoming and friendly. We decided on drinks: a Ketel One Martini and a Positano Crush off their cocktail menu. The bartender, Luis, brought us our drinks with a smile and a "cheers". As we took our first sips, we knew they were not only pretty, but delicious too! The Positano Crush was sparkling and bitter and delightful! The fresh blood orange wedge was a tasty garnish. As we dipped crispy bread into fresh and aromatic olive oil, Dee was back to take our order. We began with their Ricotta & Honey Jar and Stuffed Long Hots. The pairing of these two dishes was just perfect as the long hots were wickedly spicy and the whipped ricotta and honey had a magical cooling effect on our palates. Our main dishes included bucatini carbonara with diced guancale off the regular menu and the Flounder Francese w/crab off the Specials menu. The carbonara was delicious and the guancale was crispy and flavorful. The Flounder was lemony, crispy & flaky and the homemade linguini was light and lovely. The portions are generous, so we each brought some home.By now a duo had started playing music and singing some pleasant songs to a guitar, the bar was full and the patrons happily eating, drinking, and tapping their feet.Dee was attentive throughout our stay, refilling our water and getting fresh drinks. She was a delightful server, making sure we were enjoying our evening. The bus boys were attentive cleaning our table in a timely manner. We had some dessert: homemade cannolis, a cup of espresso, and a rainbow cookie martini that tasted exactly like a rainbow cookie (another delightful drink created by Luis). The cannolis were crispy and creamy and just the best way to end the meal.We can't wait to go back and will definitely look for their fun events and menu specials. Thank you Illianos for the fun evening of great service, delightful cocktails and DELICIOUS, beautifully crafted food.

Food is excellent but background music is too sad. What happened to all Frank Sinatra?

It’s actually quite incredible how quickly this business has went downhill since being under new ownership The kitchen is an absolute disaster. From their long hots that they don’t devein, to their chicken cutlet that is quite literally the driest cutlet I’ve ever attempted to eat. Yet NONE of this deterred me from trying to give them another chance this past Sunday when my family was looking to order out. The spaghetti was overcooked and tasted like dirty dish water. The chicken cutlet tasted as if they fried it in motor oil, it was absolutely revolting. The wings are consistently over cooked and have no real flavor other than a nasty fryer grease taste. Even the sweet potato fries disappoint being that they are routinely under seasoned and always drenched in unrealistic amounts of grease leaving them a soggy mess. The portion sizes of all of their pasta dishes are laughably small for the money they charge. The smash burger has been up to par in 2/6 visits and inconsistencies like that can NOT exist in a restaurant that charges as much as they do. I had very high hopes for illianos but unfortunately it appears that someone is trying to make money piggybacking off of the good name their restaurant has carried for years, as opposed to make a name for themselves for having a quality consistent product leave their kitchen. I would implore ANYONE considering eating at this restaurant to THINK TWICE! There are much better, more consistent options in hammonton and surrounding areas that will leave you much more satisfied. As for all the positive reviews I’ve seen it appears that the average person that eats here doesn’t do much if any fine dining nor do they get out too often. Once again, proceed with caution OR just find a much better option just about anywhere else in Hammonton as far as Italian goes.

New owners have done an amazing job bringing Illianos back. The food is very fresh and well prepared. Specials are well thought out and unique. Shout out to Deirdre for an awesome service. Love a server who knows the menu and is honest about items.

First time here and the experience was wonderful. Started with the Italian sushi, salad and smash burger to split. Ended with the rigatoni w/ chicken cutlet. It was all delicious. The chicken cutlet may have been the best I've ever had. Would highly recommend.

Had an amazing dinner here the other night. Food menu is updated and the ambiance in the restaurant is more with the times. Everything is updated since new ownership, and new owners are very friendly and highly value their employees

We frequent Illiano's and have never had a bad meal or experience. They continue to impress with every time we go: from the service to the rotating specials, we continually try different menu items and have loved them all. The atmosphere from the time you walk in is very welcoming and a perfect Italian affair. We will continue to come back.

Early Valentine dinner that was just a "Wow" experience from the start! Walked in on a Friday night, greeted & immediately seated by a beautiful friendly hostess! Our waitress, Kelci was very busy but once we placed our order, she delivered quick & awesome service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, Shrimp Fra Diablo & a Chicken Cheesesteak Panini! We're looking forward to stopping in again soon! Special shout out to lovely Giovanna, who stopped by to check on us! Her thoughtfulness & kindness touched our hearts, Thank you!
