The ambiance, decor and most gracious familial atmosphere is refreshing. The food is superb as always. We were seated in the private round dome room which is magical. Salvatore and his crew served us with grace, kindness and humor. Bravo!!!

We had a birthday celebration with our family that was in from Napa. What a remakable evening. The staff at the restaurant were all so accomodating and the service as usual was impeccable. The food was so delicious and prepared beautifully. Love the cesar salad done table side. Reminds me of the fine dining I grew up with. If you looking for a very special evening this is the place to go!

After perhaps 20 years I returned to Il Capriccio for a special evening and to my surprise, I was promptly and warmly greeted by the owners, Sal, the Maître D, and some of the staff. This heartfelt welcome just added a special touch to the evening. The kitchen offers exceptional Italian cuisine, several notches above whatever you may experience in any other Italian restaurant. Perfect service, presentation of the dishes, soft piano music, exquisite wine list and attention to every detail enhance the sophistication of the dining experience. Do not miss the sabayon prepared tableside! This place stands out as a unique venue for a wonderful dining experience.

If you want authentic delicious Italian food this is the place. They have an endless wine selection including great aged options. The service from valet to the waiter was top notch. Our waiter Jose was great especially with recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing. From the appetizers to the entrees, each plate kept getting better. Don't forget to grab yourself dessert which also did not disappoint. Would recommend!

Initial service was great until a party of 8 men was seated and the wait staff directed all of their attention to this table. Had to wait 30 minutes to get someone's attention to get our bill. Food was great but the lack of attention spoiled the experience.

2nd time there. Our first experience was very good, this time not so much. Atmosphere, excellent.... Service, excellent... Food, unfortunately just ok at best... App was a shrimp and calamari, the calamari was pretty tough and very chewy. Meat ball, excellent. Very good flavor and seasoning was perfect I had the veal parmigiana. Breading had absolutely no flavor, veal was tough to cut through, definitely should not be. Also, barely any cheese on top. Oh, no sauce at all. And yes, I get it some don't do sauce, just pointing that out. If you're doing parmigiana, put some cheese on it, not just a little. My wife had a pasta dish. She found it blan, lacked taste, pasta was ok at best. She was disappointed in her dish. Dessert was teramisu and that was decent. For a mediocre dinner it was way over priced. We have no problem spending money on good food, but when the food is mediocre, then I have problems spending money. Won't be returning.

It was crowded, but you and your company are treated as if your table is the most important! No detailed left unattended! You will love the variety of choices on the menu.
