Every time I’m in the area I stop in and get penne pasta with meat sauce and cheese on top. Absolutely killer! The lady at the counter is also very nice!

I just moved from Texas but I’m originally from NYC and I was craving REAL pizza!!! I sent my husband for a pie and he came back with a medium pie. It was so flavorful, fresh, ready quick, and finger licking good!! I’m so annoyed we only got a medium pie. It was so good the kids are asking for another pie for dinner which I will say yes too !!! Finally a real pizza spot, close to our new home with REAL pizza !!!

Johnny's Pizzeria is a hidden gem in Whippany that deserves way more buzz. If you're a fan of chicken wings, do yourself a favor and stop by—they’re flavorful and generously portioned. Their pizzas are just as impressive, loaded with toppings and cooked to perfection. You seriously can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The portion sizes are super satisfying, and the prices are more than fair. Plus, the staff? Incredibly friendly, fast, and efficient. They go above and beyond every time. Don’t forget to tip in appreciation—they truly earn it!

What food!!! This iconic New Jersey pizza restaurant took such good care of our family when we popped in for dinner!!

First of all literally Nonna is there working the counter which sets the stage. This pizza is perfect. The crust is thin and crisp no matter how manny toppings you add. Never too much oil. This is one of my favorite pizza spots in the state and I’ve been all over NJ. They’re a local legend that deserves respect. Their plain is godly, and their vodka sauce pie is out of this world. I can not recommend this pace enough and I’ll stake my Italian heart on it!!! Grab a slice and change ya life.

One time I got my pizza from Johnny’s and, it seemed to be a little undercooked so, now I just ask them to make sure to cook it all the way, NOT well-done, just cooked and, it has been 100% my favorite pizza in NJ!!! The people are so wonderful and, now my kids want pizza every night or lunch time on the weekends…I tell EVERYONE I know to just give it a try, you will love it 👏👏👍👍🙏

Good pizza and friendly service

Better pizza can be made at home with store bought crust in less than ten minutes. I ordered out there twice. Nice lady both times. . Confusing conversation about pricing first time. Pizza was good first time with crispy crust but same exact order second time came with soggy crust and an off smelling tomato sauce. Clean but depressing atmosphere. I don't recommend eating in.
