It wasn't our first time here. Last time was awful, but they had just opened, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. The oysters were not fresh at all--they definitely came in several days ago. When we told the waitress, her response was "I just saw the chef open them." Not for nothing, but oysters are always shucked to order. Opening them just then doesn't make them fresh or not. I recently hosted my baby shower in the private event room at Donatella’s, and overall it turned out to be a beautiful celebration! The space was great for 24 guests, the food was delicious, and our guests had a great time.
There was a major hiccup — the private event room had been double-booked, which caused a lot of stress and confusion. It truly felt like things might fall apart before the event even started.

We had a lovely time celebrating my sisters birthday. The food was fantastic, the service was great! Fabian was so kind and the amaretto at dessert was a great touch. Thank you so much for a great evening. Highly recommend!!
