First off, food was quite good. Very much enjoyed octopus, ribs, veal al'limone. However, the service left a lot to be desired. First, the young lady who asked about water has the worst attitude and every time she looked at our table it seemed to be with scorn. Our waiter was unaware of traditional Italian pasta course prior to entree. Apparently this Italian restaurant does not do a pasta course and all pasta dishes are entree sizes. Lovely Anniversary Dinner at Donatella's on a Sunday night. The fried calamari appetizer was excellent. Shrimp cocktail was good but not sure I would order again for the portion of only 3 shrimp. We both had chicken dishes (francese and portofino) both were delicious and came with roasted potatoes and vegetables. I had reservations (inside) but told there was nothing available?! Thank God for Fabio (manager) who saw my displeasure and helped us out. Unfortunately, it took almost 20 minutes for my cocktail order and the AC was not working. 🙁 A rought start on a Saturday evening, but all forgotten when our Veal dishes were served-DELICIOUS and worth the wait! I remembered why we came back-Quality, Value, Service (and patience) definitely try Donatella's👍👍
