Food is garbage, one of the staff members screamed at me for asking to watch the news on the TV they had and prices are way higher than they used to be. Almost all the seats have electrical tape to keep them together, it's an absolute dump

Good place to have a quick breakfast! Everything is good, I recommend the pancakes and eggs combo specials. Free refills on coffees. The servers are quick to take your order and very attentive.

This is my favorite diner in the US after traveling to 48 states so far. A retro beauty with great food, but what really stood out was John’s kindness and impeccable service. Thanks for making my day better.

I have passed by here maybe a million times It seems like this place is just a landmark. A couple weeks ago I seen a bunch of people filming something here; later I heard it was a commercial with Beyonce . Not that I was interested but was curious definitely about the food which sometimes you get a place that looks alot different than how the food is . I walked in hungry on a later morning wanting to eat a pancake breakfast and that is what I ordered. The place itself is a little worn out it definitely needs some TLC but the people here are as real as your going get from the cook Julio to the owner John and his son Michael who helps around . The owner happens to be blind man with a big personality waits on tables and charms his customers with his jokes. He puts a smile on their faces and a giggle here and there before you eat and afterwards. The fact that he is blind does not hinder him at all in serving his customers with 100% effortless perfection He amazed me as he knows everything that is going on in his place and does it with ease and joy . Ok getting to my delightful breakfast I had that truckers special which consisted of 2 eggs bacon potatoes and 2 gigantic pancakes. The pancakes were made to perfection, fluffy and scrumptious with butter and what Impressed me they had real maple syrup, which is a rarity nowadays. Usually. The high end pancake places have maple syrup, but they charge you 2 to 3 dollars extra this place just put the whole bottle on the table. So not only did I get a wonderful breakfast, but I feel like I experienced this entire diner with all the great personalities who help
make it what it is a real A+++ experience for food and service.

Good honest service. Food was very American, not Greek style homefries or kosher style. But it did its job.

So one would go to a diner thinking the roast beef would have mashed potatoes. Nah, we dont have them tonight is what I was told.
Being from the south, I dont expect everyone to have the southern hospitality, but at least have some hospitality.
When someone ask for ice, more than a few pieces is nice.
I can say the hasbrowns were the only thing decent.
Then I ask for my check, he just gives me a total of $19 for a gyro (ordered because no mashed potatoes), hasbrowns and a can Dr. Pepper, but you can look at the menu and see it's $11.95. So you are telling me tax and a Dr. Pepper is $7.05? I dont think so!
I didn't argue with him. I gave him $20 cash and walked out because I knew that I would never be back and I hope that nobody else is either, if you're gonna rip somebody off like that.
While the place is cute on the outside, I would NOT recommend it at all.
The Gyro barely had any meat on it. In fact, it had more tomatoes than meat. Also, it had sour cream instead of the Taziki (however you spell it) sauce.
Wheelchair accessibility: Non-existent.

Old school diner with great food and great prices. John is an amazing guy and an inspiration!!!
Parking: If all the truck drivers stop in at the same time, parking is tight for a regular vehicle but always manage to find a place!!!
