My friends and I went on a Tuesday afternoon and ordered from the Price Fixe. Chicken Franchise, a Reuben Sandwich and Fish and Chips. The chicken franchise was a whole breast of chicken that had been broiled dry and put into a wet, greasy bowl of pasta and sauce. UNEATABLE!! The fish and chips were cut into thin strips and fried until hard, served cold!! The Reuben sandwich was served closed and seemed to be the only dish that wasn't a disaster. The salad was cut up romaine, with three anchovies and a handful of shredded cheese, no dressing. AWFUL!! Don't waste your time or money!!!

We were originally seated in the back room, and there was a very cold draft. After talking to the weight things staff, they changed our table to the front area. The waiting staff was very accommodating and very kind and did their job well. They were attentive and pleasant.. The food was just OK, we had gotten the fried calamari which was excellent, but the pizza was undercooked, the pork chop was overcooked, the cavatelli and eggplant was mushy, and we sent most of it back. My cappuccino came out lukewarm, and the Zeppoli dessert was not very good. They were very greasy. Beautiful restaurant in a historic building.
Very cute place! We went for brunch, ordered the chicken and waffles and the breakfast pizza. Both were very good. We also got bottomless Bellinis which were also very good. The service was also great and the owner came around and was very nice! We will definitely be back.
Always consistently good food and good service and such a warm, cozy feel. Great little place.
What a gem. I have lived in Nj for decades but moved to Florida in 2019. I never heard of the Ivy Inn or knew about it. MY mistake. Its seriously a great time out. The ambiance is superb. The Food was top quality and service was very good. FIre places in a 150 year old house , the décor is beautiful. The menu is extensive. We cant wait to go back.
A beautiful setting for a holiday get together. Service was attentive and dishes were excellent. Ordered the large cheese plate and although plenty of fruit and crackers, could have used more cheese. Will be back.
As always had a wonderful experience. We were seated right away. The staff was attentive and professional and the food was exceptional. Will definitely come back.
My husband and I asked for well done fries and instead they were barely warm and soggy. My cousins waffle wasn't even warm. Totally disappointed. We all drove an hour to meet there. I've gone there for over 20 years and this will be the last time.
Wonderful food and wonderful staff 🩷
Had 60th birthday celebration at Ivy Inn last night. We reserved the outdoor patio for celebration. Jack had everything looking beautiful. Lucy & her crew did an amazing job. The food was great & plentiful.

Great place for brunch!! The restaurant itself is beautiful, it has a good variety of food, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. I had the Garden Quiche and Pineapple Sorbet and it was delicious! Will definitely go back for brunch again!
The food and atmosphere is always nice and cozy here. The drinks and food are honestly what keeps me coming back. The history is cool and it gives off prohibition vibes. The head of staff is always so accommodating and you can tell she works hard for the restaurant.
Excellent food, service and ambiance. I definitely recommend this place! Amanda was so sweet and kind too. In the warmer months the patio with the lights and bamboo is so nice.
Great place nice atmosphere food was excellent
This experience was terribly disappointing. The restaurant was recommended by a colleague, but the food was awful.
I ordered the Mussels and a Caesar Salad. The salad was a sad version of a staple. The romaine was brown in spots, the cheese not fresh and the dressing had no flavor. Not to mention a 5 year old could have recreated the pile that sat on the plate.
The mussels were overcooked, gritty and not of a high quality. I ordered the Fra Diavlo sauce and it was okay but pretty heavy for a mussel dish.
My colleague ordered the Lamb Chops and they were dry and overcooked. The young ladies working were kind and worked hard.
We enjoyed the piano player and the patio area is nice as well. Overall a poor experience and certainly won't return.
