I like this Starbucks and they have the best ice!! These days my preferences even go to ice in my coffee. All of the Baristas are friendly and pleasant to speak to. They’re often super busy, so it’s best to order ahead but I’ve always had positive interactions here.

barista girl told me that a venti iced macchiato only comes with two shots of espresso but the app clearly says three. I guess they don’t realize that customers can tell if their drink tastes off or is missing something. Barista on the weekdays need additional training.
However the baristas who make my drink on the weekends get it perfect every time.

On July 5, 2025, at approximately 12:00 noon, I encountered two baristas at Starbucks Hasbrouck Heights who were incredibly offensive and unpleasant. Their lack of business etiquette makes it evident that they should not be employed in that establishment.

I ordered a Venti Iced Shaken Espresso, but was disappointed to find the cup filled mostly with ice—there was hardly any coffee. Despite paying for a Venti size, the actual amount of coffee I received was less than what you’d expect in a Tall. I understand ice is part of the drink, but this was excessive and felt like poor value for the price.

The staff at this location were friendly this past Saturday, but unfortunately not knowledgeable about the drinks. We ordered the lavender oat milk latte and commented on how great it was to have a delicious dairy-free option (due to a milk allergy). We've had it before at another location without any issue. However, the barista told us it wasn’t dairy-free because the lavender powder supposedly contained dairy. We politely explained that this wasn’t the case, but he double-checked with another barista who repeated the same misinformation. We tried clarifying that perhaps they were thinking of the lavender cream matcha, which does have dairy, but both insisted the lavender powder itself contained milk. They emphasized that they don’t add milk to it, but were adamant that the powder had dairy. In the end, we asked to see the packaging, and—as we expected—there was no dairy listed in the ingredients. It was a strange experience because they were so sure about something that wasn’t accurate, which made us hesitant to order the drink at all.

This passed Monday April 14th around 5pm purchased 2 TI Mocha Frappe that did not have any milk or coffee; it was simply made with ice and chocolate cookie crumble with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. The drinks were so disgusting also at the bottom of the cup there was an unknown yellow substance. After drinking some of this drink I ended up in the ER with horrible food poisoning. Never will I ever stop at this Starbucks again!!
