We had only been here once when we first moved to Bergen county. Every time we pass, it is packed so decided to try it again. Honestly for me, the food was very bland. The service was okay - the waiter broke my husband's beer glass and it spilled all over him. He was mortified and the manager offered free desserts, dry cleaning and they were really wonderful about it.

Owner always greets us with a smile and kind words. Service is very professional, food is always great. Upscale casual restaurant. Lucky to have this in the area.

It was good middle of the road Italian food. We all ordered entrees, but I hear the pizza is like the entrees.... middle of the road. Nice ambiance. Our waitress and the maitre d, didn't seem like they really wanted to be there, but got the job done... Begrudgingly. A smile wouldn't have killed them.

Solid neighborhood place. Best if they know you, but still good if they don't.

Casual dining, local clientele. Ambiance is plain but clean and comfortable, but that's not what you came for. Dress code could be described as "Rte. 80 truck stop". That being said, the food is very good, the service is friendly and attentive, the prices fair and reasonable and the parking as free. Definitely a comeback place for veery good food in casual setting.

We ate at Andiamo on 9/24/25. We had a reservation for 2 people at 7 PM but the man who finally , reluctantly seated us was not cordial , friendly or ready to seat us , and when he finally did , he gave us the noisiest table in the house , though there were several available quieter ones. My friend and I agreed that it would not be possible to talk or enjoy out dinner so I asked him for a different table , but he said he was using it for a much bigger party. I told him we could not possibly stay if we had to sit where he sat us , so he reluctantly gave us an empty much quieter, all set up , ready table in an alcove , sheltered by a wall .My martini was acceptable , far from good, and quite small . It frankly did not even look appealing . My glazed salmon was so overcooked it was uneatable. The only thing good about it was it’s menu description . The bread was tasteless, the pita was stale, and no one came to refill my water glass even though I was choking on something . Our salad was soggy but tasty, and the calamari was fine . My tea was lookwarm .
I cannot remember having a worse dinner in the 28 years I have lived in Bergen County .

We hosted my grandfather's memorial dinner here with friends and family and it was flawless. Alan made it so easy, especially during such a difficult time. The food was fantastic, prices reasonable and the atmosphere was very comforting. Highly reccomend to anyone looking to host a gathering or looking for a place to have dinner!

One can reminisce about days of yore when a family dinner out was pleasurable for all the right reasons: the atmosphere, attentive and continued service, a menu that holds true to its cultural values, and a kitchen staff that takes pride in their dishes. These attributes are what my close and extended family experienced on a busy Saturday night at Andiamo's in Haworth. We had reservations for 10 and arrived near the beginning of the night's service. Even as the indoor and outdoor dining filled, and tables turned over while we continued our evening, our courses arrived promptly (well, one entree was overlooked initially), all selections were well prepared, and the service continued to be impeccable. Our evening's time will be remembered as one of the highlight Italian meals of the year. Bravo.

My husband and i had a “date night” here and it was wonderful! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was like going to an old friend’s house for dinner. The food was amazing as always! Can’t wait to go back.

Expensive restaurant so expect quality service. When our food was delivered, the waiter didn’t know who got what dish. It was like an auction. “Okay, who gets this, who gets this.” Totally unacceptable.

Guys, what happened to you?
You used to be a good, reliable restaurant. We’ve visited before and had a decent experience. But today, the kitchen was just terrible.

The pizza was one of the worst I’ve ever had — burnt crust, meat that tasted boiled instead of grilled, flavorless, and included toppings we didn’t even order.
The spinach dish (about $10) looked like something carelessly slapped on a plate — no presentation, no care.
The Caesar salad was equally bland and visually unappetizing.

I don’t usually write negative reviews — only when something is truly disappointing. And sadly, this was one of those moments.
It wasn’t just a bad dinner — it was a ruined evening, wasted money, and honestly, I still have an unpleasant aftertaste — both literally and emotionally.

I really hope you take this feedback seriously and make improvements in the kitchen.
