After a refreshing walk in the park across the street, I stumbled upon a gem—Rugile’s Kitchen. The menu posted in the window caught my eye, and with the sun shining and tables set outside, it felt like the perfect place to stop for a bite.
I was warmly greeted by Francesca Loushin, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. I asked her about the Haworth Hen Burger, and without hesitation, she told me it was one of her favorites. That was all the encouragement I needed—I ordered it with cheese and a side of French fries.
Francesca invited me to sit outside and even brought my food out to me, which added such a personal touch. The moment I took a generous bite of the burger, I was blown away. It was, without question, the most flavorful chicken burger I’ve ever had. The slaw on top gave it a nice kick, and with a drizzle of honey mustard, it became an absolute flavor bomb. Paired with a refreshing lemonade, it was the perfect meal on a beautiful day.
Rugile’s Kitchen is a real treat. If you ever find yourself in Haworth, you owe it to yourself to stop by. The presentation is thoughtful, the flavor is unmatched, and the care they put into the experience shows. This place doesn’t just serve food—they craft it.

I've been a fan of Monique Rugile's cooking since 2016! Her eatery in Haworth, NJ (which she runs with her brother James) offers delicious dishes in a cozy setting. The burger was soooo tasty, and I loved the kale salad that I ordered with it. We also sampled the chicken cutlet sandwich and the mac 'n' cheese -- both were awesome. The chocolate chip cookies and the Chocolate Slab were the perfect sweet bites afterwards. I have always admired how expertly Monique prepares her meals, for she creates flavorful dishes without a lot of fuss. So glad I got to visit her kitchen and see where she creates her magic!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch today. The food we ordered was delicious and freshly made. This included strawberry mango and peanut butter and banana smoothies, the Lake Shore Bowl and Terrace Street Rice Bowl with Chicken. We also ordered a Hawt Honey sandwich to go which my son enjoyed.
The staff there was very friendly and welcoming. They brought our food out when ready (which was quick) and checked in to see if everything was ok.
The place was well lit and cozy, and parking is along the street or in the parking lot across the street.
We plan to come back to try the other items on the menu with the rest of the family.

Eat here every week with my family and we all absolutely love this place. They have such fresh salads and their chicken cutlet sandwich is our favorite! Always have to get their smoothies too, so refreshing. Would recommend to anyone who wants fresh, delicious food
