Celtic Corner Restaurant and Pub

We went for an early dinner 3/16/25, the food is terrible. Corned beef sandwich had 2 pieces of meat. Fish and Chips, fish is frozen. Brussel sprouts app had 7-8 hearts. An embarrassment.

The food was great, the service was good, but the music was way too loud. I could not hear the people in our party. We had to yell at each other. I asked the waitress if she could have the music brought down. She said probably not. I asked he to talk to her management and she did, but the music remained way too loud. I read on my phone that it was peaking at 106 dbs. That's loud. I even saw young children with their hands over their ears.

Been here several times as I grew up in town.

It is hit or miss, but today hits different. In an empty bar never have I been greeted by a bartender in a half empty bar by, “Ya what happened.”

Reminds me why I stopped going here.

P.s. next guy (white) walks in. “How can I help you?”

The owner was from Ireland. I asked from where. We spoke for a while. My grandfather was from Ireland. They have great food. Great place to grab a bit. Lots to pick from.

Went on Thur Sept 18 2024 ,for dinner with my wife and 2 grandchildren , Aaron 27, Nicole 20. Try a pumpkin ale with brown sugar on the rim, Calamari appetizer, fish +chips, +burgers all excellent. Didn't have it this time but shepherd's pie also a great choice. Staff is friendly, and attentive. This is a real deal Irish Pub. If you haven't been here, give it a try you won't be disappointed. Small parking lot behind the building, but plenty of parking for Celtic Corner, alongside the Cali real estate office on Diamond Bridge Ave.

The best beef stew and potatoes I EVER had. I have eaten from here plenty times. I also had the salad with arugula beets asparagus and fresh mozz, it was all very fresh. It is a rare occurrence when I leave reviews but I just had to take time out to write one for Celtic Corner. My experience was amazing!
