Omg ! This place is the best in town !
Our first time trying this place and ordered take out for two. A decent variety of menu choices. The portions were generous and the food was good. I can see us trying other dishes. Staff was helpful getting the food to my car. Side by side to another restaurant and only street parking, which was not a problem. WARNING: It's across the street from the Hawthorne Post Office parking lot and their entry door has a warning not to park in the Post Office lot to avoid ticketing and possible towing. I moved my car to a spot on the street' less than a block away.
We had my husbands retirement dinner there and although the food was good, the service was awful. Unless I got up to find someone, the wait staff did not come over to the table to see if we needed anything the entire time. I setup a preset menu to make things easier, but that didn't help. I had to find someone to ask about getting our appetizers, then again for our dinner order, then again to bring out our cake. The package also included coffee and tea, which we didn't get and they wait staff never asked anyone if they wanted any. We were there from 5:00 - 8:00, and had some small grandchildren with us. Some of our group had to leave before the cake, which the staff messed up taking it out of the box. I was extremely disappointed.

My family threw a lunch time baby shower here (about 40 guest). Service & food was excellent - every table was served at the same time, good portions, and no one was really waiting for their dish to come out and coffee/cake was served at the same time! (I often find that at parties there's a 10 minute gap between). Had a few guest with different dietary restrictions and they adapted/modified the set menu for them. The waitresses were so lovely and helped set up and decorate before - even helped older guest carry presents from their car. In no way rushed us, but also helped us pace the party with when to play a game before next round of food came out. A great & affordable BYOB place for a party! Because it was a weekend, we were able to tell our guest to park across the street at the Catholic School, so parking was not an issue.
Parking: If school is not in session - park across the street at the catholic school
Wheelchair accessibility: Completely flat / no steps.

Hidden gem! Wonderful, kind & attentive service from the moment you walk in the door. Excellent food at a great price! We we’re pleasantly surprised by all of the options offered on the early bird menu. I will definitely be going back to Due Fratelli soon!

The place is a bit dated, but that's ok. The service was great. Everyone who works there is so nice and helpful. The food all tasted great, but there was an issue a couple of hours later. My stomach was in knots. May have been a bad muscle or the mahi mahi. I know a bad muscle can happen, and it stinks cause everything had great flavor. I'll try it again but avoid the fish and muscles on the specials menue.

This review should have honestly been posted a long while ago. This past year not only have we had numerous family dinners here but also hosted my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner and just today my baby shower. The place is beautiful and the staff is fantastic, especially Brianna and Jasmine!! The staff is so kind and always goes above and beyond for you. The food is always on point. If you need a place to host a party or a random dinner that is not only delicious but AFFORDABLE you have to come here you will not be disappointed.

Can't say enough about this lovely establishment. Love to see a fairly new to this town business succeeding. Between the quality, the flavor, the service and overall culture here, you are missing out if you have not stopped in. Keep in mind there are some high volume times so go ahead and give them a call with any questions or concerns. It is their objective to serve their customers the best experience and Jose will always follow up. The team is what neighborhood is about and a quality fresh meal still means. Thank you Due Fratelli.

I enjoy the specials between 4pm and 6pm. 3 courses for under $30. I always forget that this place does not have a liqueur license, so you have to bring your own wine. Parking is also a bit problematic. The mussels are great and food is good. It is one of my favorite eating places to go when I visit Hawthorne.

I have a question in two weeks, it's my son's birthday and I want to make a reservation. I want to know if I can bring my own wine.
They made me a beautiful gluten free flounder francese... very accommodating!!!
Dietary restrictions: Waitress was very good in offering gluten free options
Parking: Staff came out with a birthday candle in our dessert for my aunt's 80th birthday and sang too!!!!

FOOD WAS AMAZING! BUT, there was no music so it was a bit too quiet. Other than that would definitely recommend.
