The new owner, whoever that is, managed to ruin everything great about Goffle Grill. The food, the most important part of a restaurant, tastes like crap now.
They also shrunk the size of the regular-sized (they used to have only one size, now they have a regular-sized and jumbo sized option), hot dog and hamburger and made it more expensive. This place used to be great. However, I don't plan on ever coming here again.

Why would someone buy a place that has been around for decades, where generations of people have been coming to get the same thing over and over again, and proceed to change just about everything? Goffle Grill was an institution. The new owners should be ashamed. Change the name. It is no longer Goffle Grill.
I have been going to goffle grill for over 30 years. On my recent visit, my wife & I noticed that the sauce on our hot dogs was different. Not good at all. Nothing like it had been for years. Found out that the store is under new management. Major disappointment. Fries were not as good either. Why change something that has been delicious for years???

The goffle grill, once a beloved staple in Hawthorne, has fallen on hard times under new management. It’s now an embarrassment, with teenagers running the show without any supervision. I’ve had two disappointing experiences while under new management. The first time, I ordered from the goffle grill and received missing items from my order. The second time, I used seamless, but never revived my order. When, a half hour after my estimated delivery time, I finally got a call from goffle grill. They informed me they didn’t have any drivers to deliver the food, so I had to pick it up myself. Then, I had to deal with seamless about getting a refund for the shipping fees and tip. To make matters worse, when I got the food home, it was surprisingly correct, but the food was cold.

Miss the old way it was :( food tastes different, specials gone, I hate the new fries. Bring back how it was!
When we walked in I immediately knew something was a miss. Hardly any customers, no ATM, No weekday and Sunday special board. Google Grill is under new ownership. Definitely not the same, hot dog with chill, tasteless, roll hard, French fries, not great either and the gravy for French fries was terrible. I guess the original owner for 45 years took his chili recipe and gravy recipe with him.
Will no longer go there, will be going to Hanks Franks and Johnny and Hanges.

Different experience than Jo . The new counter staff looked lost. Two people behind the counter just looked at me. I asked if I could get eggs and breakfast and was told yes. Once I started to order sausage and eggs, the server stated that they no longer do that.
Left w/o purchasing anything.

Cute place next to my nail place. Smelled good as I was walking in and it was very clean. The staff was nice where my issue lies is this “quesadilla” it’s slices American cheese barely melted between two tortillas? I took one bite and spit it out. I’m extra irritated because it is my lunch time. I do not have time to get something else and this was $4?! I could have gone to Taco Bell and gotten at the very least shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream. It was also packed in a styrofoam plate wrapped in butchers paper and a rubber band…. Just weird
I was near Goffle Grill last night so I had to stop by and visit Tony the owner. Of course the food was great. I wish I lived closer I probably be there several times a week. They have a pretty big menu and it's never disappointed.Nice people, good food, please support them.

Not the best hamburger I have ever had but for the price and nostalgia of the restaurant it was edible. Onion rings were store bought frozen and not worth the money. Staff was excellent and very friendly. This restaurant has been around for decades and is a great reminder of bygone times. Dont expect great food but do expect to enjoy the overall experience.

Milk shake was not flavorful at all. The person who made it definitely did not put enough ice cream.
Find place for a good all the way hot dog or hamburger. The new empanadas are good too!
