I’ve been a loyal customer for over two years, stopping by several times a week. Unfortunately, my most recent visits have been consistently negative by Ashley. I want to make it clear that this doesn't reflect on the other staff members (they're all great).

On multiple occasions, Ashley has not acknowledged my presence for several minutes—even when the store is empty. Instead of greeting or taking my order, she’s often busy with side tasks behind the counter, seemingly pretending I’m not there. This lack of basic courtesy feels unwelcoming and has turned what used to be a quick, enjoyable stop into an awkward experience.

It’s a shame, because the pastries here remain top-notch. I sincerely hope management will address this behavior so that the welcoming atmosphere matches the quality of the baked goods. A simple greeting and prompt attention would go a long way toward restoring the warm, friendly vibe that originally drew me in.

I drive down from Ringwood that’s how delicious everything is! Walking in & being greeted by Rosie’s beautiful smile makes it even more worth the trip! My friends drive down too and loved the bread & how helpful Rosie was. You need delicious pastries, cake or bread take the time to go to Rispoli’s you will thank me!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a surprise 50th birthday party for my sister in law and got our cake, cookies, and pastries from Rispoli’s Pastry Shop in Hawthorne. The cake was tremendous and everything was outstanding. The attention to detail for what I wanted was phenomenal. The owners and staff are incredible and accommodating and I received many compliments on the design as well as the cookies and pastries. When it came to catering my husband’s 40th birthday, there was no question—I knew Rispoli Bakery was the only choice! I was overwhelmed with so many event details and had no idea what kind of cake or dessert selection I wanted. Enter Rose—an absolute lifesaver! She guided me through the entire selection process, offering expert recommendations on flavors, quality, and variety. I sent over an inspiration photo for the cake, and when I saw the final result, I was speechless. Rispoli didn’t just match the photo—they far exceeded it! It was a true masterpiece, and I was so moved that I actually cried when I saw it (lol). The dessert spread was so impressive. Every single guest raved about how incredible everything tasted, constantly asking, “Where are these amazing desserts from?!” Thanks to Rose and the team’s thoughtful recommendations, every choice was a home run. I cannot say enough good things about Rose and the entire Rispoli Bakery family. Their talent, professionalism, and warm, welcoming nature make them a joy to work with. Amazing family owned bakery! Love going here for all their homemade items from lobster tails, to cannolis, sausage bread and individual tiramisus. So much better than a national chain and the service is the best! Rose took great care of us!

Love this bakery! Rose is the best! She makes you feel welcome, she cares about you and she makes the best espresso in town! Her recommendations are on point! You can trust sweet Rose!

My husband I stopped here. They were busy. They had numbers in the front to take but didn’t use the ticketing system. The line was chaotic, and it was unclear where it began or ended. If they used the ticketing system, that would have helped. It was impossible to see all of the choices due to how crowded it was, so I just let my husband choose a few things for us to try. The pastries were good, but they need to get their ordering process and service together a bit better when things are busy.
