Hawthorne Diner is a must-visit! The food is always fantastic — from their classic diner breakfasts to hearty lunches and dinners.
My mom and I eat there on Sundays. Food is always good and the service is friendly.
Very expensive compare to other Mexican food

I’ve been going here for over 30yrs. But now I’m turned off by being rushed. Let me enjoy my food and my fellowship with the people I’m with!
A smaller diner with amazing food and even better service, great vegetarian options

I had an amazing experience at The Hawthorne Diner yesterday! Truly a hidden gem. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with onion rings, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. For only $23, I received a hearty meal that was both delicious and satisfying. The food came out fresh and hot, which made it even better.
Additionally, the waiter was incredibly nice and accommodating, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this diner to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

I ordered a simple breakfast eggs grits and bacon. When the food arrived the bacon was missing. When I mentioned this to the very rude waitress (who in my opinion absolutely did not want to wait on us) she said oh it’s coming. After a while I noticed my grits and eggs were getting cold and I attempted to ask another waitress if she could possibly place my food under the warmer. Because of the language barrier she didn’t understand and got the owners son. When he approached me his exact words were “What’s the problem?”. Not how can I help or even a good morning. My family and I have been eating here since I was a child. We’ve supported this diner for years through different management and even through Covid. Those 3 quoted words and the way we’ve been treated here lately is why we’ll never ever return. It’s unfortunate because most of the staff including the owners wife are really nice. I refuse to continue to give my money to a place that
makes me feel unwanted.
