The food was really good, the waitress was nice and friendly. Parking was not an issue. The only problem I found is that it’s a tight space. Being there with a baby in a car seat was not easy because of the tight space and proximity to the next table, but the couple in the next table was very accommodating.
Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars, is because of the lack of hours of operation. Being it’s a diner but they close at 4pm. Food and service is always good. Parking lot is quite atrocious also.
But beyond the memories, Hawthorne Diner is cozy, welcoming, and has that nostalgic charm you want from a classic diner. The food is comforting and flavorful (especially their breakfast menu!), and the staff is always kind and attentive.
