First time at Wilson’s for a birthday brunch. Overall the wait staff were very attentive and friendly. However, the food wasn’t what I expected. Wilsons marketed a famous chef, we expected better. Some of our food came out cold and wasn’t made with love. A few of us received a nice gift, stomach issues after. This location is doing something to bring an amazing atmosphere for those who are looking to drink, eat and party but the DJ wasn’t adding to this atmosphere. Songs were played on repeat and due to the “2 hour table limit” the DJ wasn’t shying away from letting the patrons know it was soon time to rush and get up or get out. This I personally didn’t like. Let’s talk about the tipping process. Ordered one drink and after reviewing the receipt there was gratuity added. This was shocking. Will I return? Likely but I wouldn’t go for food and will pay cash only.

I had to bring my girlfriends here to experience a good time, and they loved it. We will definitely be coming back very soon. A month ago, I celebrated my mother's 81st birthday here, and she truly enjoyed herself. She absolutely loved the atmosphere too.

I loved the entire experience. The food was great. Mr. Eric Roberson gave a Awesome show. He was very engaging with the audience. I've had a great experience each time I've gone to Wilson's. I'd see him again. His vocals were phenomenal.?????

We went for a concert tonight!!! The performer was fantastic. The waitress soso, we got half the appetizers the other half 20 minutes later, we could not switch sides. When another waitress brought out food we told her that was not our order since one of us did not eat meat so they made arrangements and the waitress said we do not do that and stormed off, did not let us explain it was because she does not eat meat. Then the waitress never came back until she brought the bill. 1 star for us!!

Went this past Sunday with a few girlfriends for the early brunch. We were greeted at the door by a red hair woman who's unpleasant attitude was felt prior to entering. We waited in the cold and rain to enter and upon waiting to be seated she was rude. No hellos or welcomes, just attitude. On the way out I attempted to tell the red head along with another woman standing at the door, i enjoyed myself, but they each turned away from me faced each other and proceeded in conversation as if i hadnt just made eye contact and attempted to approach them. The food was great, dj was great. Our waitress seemed a little unexperienced but we made the best of it. Had it not been for the red head my review would have been a 5. Reading the other reviews though, sounds like the staff here are the main cause of disappointment. Maybe some staffing changes are in need!

I would give this establishment 5 stars, but me and my friends were there on Sunday. There was a female greeter at the front door with red hair, she was very rude and her attitude was awful. Outside of that everything was amazing.

The woman in the front was very rude and uninviting. The policy to sit at the bar until your guests comes who has RSVP’d is asinine. The food was terrible and overpriced and my first drink was poorly made and took forever. I wanted to patronize them because it is a black owned, food music venue in South Jersey. I wanted to love it. I tried a few times. Have always been disappointed. I won’t be back.

If you are going to have a 2hr start to finish service you should open doors an half hour early. We had 12-2p seating time. Doors opened at 12p by the time the server came around and took all orders it was about 12:45/1p. Food came out at around 1:30p. Not long after we got our food dj came on and said time to tap it up have to get ready for next service. At that point it was hectic trying to get containers for leftovers, close out the tab. If you opened doors at 11:30 it gives people time to seat look at menu and by 12 servers should be coming around to take orders. The servers need to be retrained. The server had his entire had covering my lobster when putting it on table. I kindly said you should never put your hand like that over customers food. The food was good I had beef bacon, cheese grits, potatoes w/pepper and onions and a side lobster tail. The fried lobster tail I think it said 6oz but it was more of a 4oz and way to much batter on it and was salty. The music was good but very loud hard to hear when someone was talking. Would I go back not sure. It was a Sunday with chef Milly.
