The classic avocado toast was so yummy. The hot cocoa also yummy. Hot food is served til 2pm daily. The ceiling fans were really nice for airflow. And the atmosphere is super cute.

So..Decided to google coffee shop near me while driving through Clinton. And Scout’s came up. Looked good, had good reviews. So why not.So worth it. Felt like I was transported to a cabin In Vermont. Cozy, warm and just a relaxing vibe. My chocolate croissant was flaky and soft.Oat milk latte was made just right (kinda a coffee/ espresso snob)No burnt espresso taste. So fresh beans, a barista that knows what they’re doing. And oat milk not burnt.

Scouts is cute inside and all, but if the service is unfriendly, it turns me off. I greeted the cashier with a smile and a pleasant “hi!” And I didn’t get a thing back except a look like “ok what do you want??”. There was not a single smile in the whole staff. The woman who yelled out my drink after it was done being made, I said “thank you!” She didn’t even acknowledge me. It just turns me off to ever coming back. I like to feel like you enjoy your customers, not as if I’m having you do a chore. The sad thing is also, the coffee is delicious. I’m almost mad at how good it is because the staff turned me off to going back.

Ordered food, and ended up waiting for an hour. We asked when would our order be served and were responded with a rude reply without any apology asking "what did you even order?". They continued to act like we were the problem rather than actively trying to sort out the situation instead.

I happened to be driving through the town High Bridge & I wanted a quick lunch ... Scout's heated up a sweet potato sausage wrap & it was fantastic. Scout's is a cool little place ... definitely check it out if you're in the area
