I picked up chicken nachos Sunday Night Labor Day weekend. The portions are huge & very flavorful. So huge that I ate a small portion last night but finish it off for breakfast the next day! Much better than next day refrigerator pizza! Picture is what left over!

The food was terrible. The meat smelled and tasted very bad. I did not expect that. We could not eat our food. I normally dont write bad reviews but it was that bad. The waitress was nice but food was not edible and smelled. Would not recommend.

Walked in and waited to be seated. Nobody acknowledged us. Staff looked at us and just walked back into the kitchen. After about 5 minutes of waiting we just left.

I love this restaurant but the service was not good last night, two servers for the entire restaurant was bad. Forgot some of our drinks, and then disappeared, coukd get the check. We would have spent more time and money there but not with the way it was going.

This place reminds me of the place in NYC El Coyote. This was where I first took my wife on our first date 40 years ago. The food the service and the atmosphere is the same. Different owners different places but so many similarities. It brings back so many unbelievable memories of us together.
Have been coming for years, the taco Tuesday specials are worth checking out. Our server was amazing, we came in on a rainy Tuesday, she was running the whole floor and we never felt like we were slow for service. She gave us great recommendations on the Anejo tequila selection, as there was a huge range of different kinds of tequilas to choose from (although no mezcal, not a problem for me as I don’t love Smokey)!! Overall Chilangos is the perfect cozy local spot for Mexican, with a fun outdoor patio for the fair weather season!
Went to Sandy hook for the day and decided to stop by for a bite. Grilled chicken tacos had no flavor at all, not even salt, pepper or hot sauce could fix it. Very little onions and cilantro. My wife had fish tacos she said they were ok, but the tortillas looked whacked. They have 1 person as a waiter, bar tender etc etc. might give it another shot but I don’t know. It’s hard for a Mexican place to screw up on tacos.

We went to listen to band outside. We waited 15 minutes for drinks and 45 minutes for dinner, only one waitress. Needless to say it started to rain when our food finally arrived and band packed up.
