Went for Sunday brunch. Food, service and atmosphere were awesome! Will definitely be going back for dinner in the future. If going for brunch I highly recommend their S.O.S with scrambled eggs. Portions were generous without being overwhelming.

Wow! What a welcome addition to the Highlands! Beautiful beautiful bar and restaurant you can just take a look at the pictures and see for yourself. The food was absolutely perfection I had the lobster salad which was this delicious lobster with no mayo thin sliced avocado and cherry tomatoes in the most delicious vinaigrette that the chef made it was really outrageous I enjoyed every bite. A must go to!

This was our first time at the mule barn,but it won't be the last.My wife and I discovered it by accident while walking around Sandy Hook national park in NJ. We were totally delighted.My wife had the portabello mushroom sandwich and I had the sheapard's pie.Both were excellent. We always share when going out to eat.I recommend this restaurant highly and look forward to going back.
