This year, 2026, we’ll attempt to celebrate each and every 365 National Day- and Jan 1 celebrates (among other things) the Bloody Mary. Off the Hook was listed as one of “New Jersey’s 11 best spots for the ultimate Bloody Mary” by NJ 101.5 Radio and it did not disappoint! Generous drink, spicy and delicious. Food was very good also, with outstanding blackened chicken. We saved room for a tasty slice of peppermint cheese cake. Accessible restaurant, welcoming and attentive staff. Excellent prices, generous portions.

This is a nice place to dine and have a nice view out out over the highlands and Sandy Hook. It can get a bit loud with the crowd, and even with the traffic driving by since it's so close to route 36. However, the service and food and drinks are all good here. You can't go wrong and it's a really nice place to meet up with friends in the evening.

I love going here. It is handicapped friendly which is important for me. You can sit inside or outside. Food is so good! The view it wonderful even on a rainy day. From simply burger to seafood. You will never be sorry if you try anything on the menu. Service is great! They make sure you are happy with everything. Wonderful place to celebrate a birthday or any special occasion. You will be glad you did.

We usually go on Tuesday nights for bingo, which is a ton of fun. We try something new each time. Every dish is unique and delicious. Amazing New England clam soup, grouper, and burgers.
Dogfood in an amazing atmosphere with good service👌. Stay away from the menu, bottoms up!! 🍺

Came here just for the lobster roll, you get 2 for $33 so a fair price, pretty much all claw which is not bad either. But the bun is bad, basic hot dog bun, has no business holding lobster meat.
