We always go for the open mic there. It's a friendly receptive crowd but just remember as a performer, not everybody there is going to be watching or listening, especially toward the back. It is loud. Just the same it's a receptive audience and the food is good.

I came here after a long day to have a hamburger and try the food here I was told I had to sit outside with my service Dock. That is incorrect. I am printing a copy of the American disability act regulation. This place does not honor people with service dogs. My dog specifically is a service dog for a disability that I have.
No, a restaurant cannot force a person with a service dog to sit outside, regardless of the weather conditions. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service dog must be allowed in all indoor areas where the public is normally permitted to go, including the main dining room. Service animals are working animals, not pets, and must be accommodated. Forcing a person to sit in an undesirable location, such as outside in the winter, is a violation of the ADA which requires people with disabilities to be integrated and not isolated from other patrons.
And as you can see, he’s about 20 pounds and clean as a whistle. The bartender lied to me and said it was a health department regulation. He didn’t know that I actually have worked for the health department for a local community. Basically, he lied to me

My son and his friend went there. My son is 24 his friend from out of town is 23. Bouncers were total assholes - and snapped their Real IDs. Didn’t believe they were of age. Why break their perfectly legal IDs. Total incompetence. Fire these people.

Rating is for jazz night. But i stayed for amateur night/karaoke and the talent was NYC caliber. Expect a dive bar otherwise.

Went because it is listed as being on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. Was greeted as soon as we entered by a friendly bartender. All servers and bartenders are fun and pleasant. The food was much better than I thought it was going to be. Two drinks, appetizers and entrees for 2 people and it was under $100!!! Will go again.
Visiting from upstate NY. Googled a good place to eat that was inexpensive. 10/10. Food was so good! I LOVE birria tacos and they were soooooooo good! Seems to be a local hangout with a great atmosphere.
