Caffe Piazza was a big, welcoming surprise in its unassuming location. Not since I've been in Italy have I had a similar dining experience. Welcoming atmosphere, the wait staff was exceptional - knowledgeable, attentive, courteous, helpful and friendly.The food - I dipped my bread in the olive oil and upon tasting it, immediately noticed that this was really good olive oil, and it went uphill from there, everything we ordered and tasted, looked, and was, delicious.The house salad came out and my wife and I both agreed, this may be the tastiest salad dressing we'd ever had! I don't know what was in it!My grandmother was from Calabria, and she could cook, and I grew up eating her sauce, so I never get the Sunday dinner (Stofato Special) at restaurants as I'm usually pretty sure I'll be disappointed. I gave it a shot and it was excellent. The meatball, sausage and braciole were tender and tasty and the sauce was scrumptious over the fresh made pasta. I was in heaven. I cleaned every drop of the bowl with my bread.The other 3 diners ordered a fresh pasta with a tomato cream sauce, a seafood dish and a chicken with vegetables dish and every single dish looked so good, I am thinking I'm going to have to go back at least 3 more times to try them ?Had the pistachio gelato for dessert. Just full of pistachio flavor, and that creamy gelato texture that makes your tongue dance, savored every bite.I ordered a cappuccino, which upon tasting it, also lifted an eyebrow as it was exceptionally good.After dinner, the owner, who is from Italy took pride in telling us about their ingredients, their philosophy and their roots in Calabria (no surprise!). He also shared that their family has been serving up delicious meals here for 29 years, that's just amazing. Just like back home, he offered some Limoncello to end the meal which sealed the deal.If you've been to Italy, or if you haven't, check this place out and you'll feel like you were.

Had an amazing dinner for 13 for my son’s confirmation dinner. We went with predetermined menu and everything was delicious, fresh and plentiful. We had tons to take home. Everyone raved about the food and especially the atmosphere. Always a great place for a date or a family dinner.Dietary restrictions: My son has a food allergy and they were very accommodating.
This place never disappoints! Don't let the fact that it's a strip mall fool you, this place is great and BYOB! Their balsamic dressing (which you can purchase to take home) is awesome too!

That don't offer butter for their rolls...no straws either...the wire chairs were uncomfortable... cafeteria type tables...and the guy who seated us was a "know-it-all"...other than that,the food was good.

Went to celebrate my friend's birthday and had a delicious dinner. I had the Pork Chop Valdostana. It was huge and delicious. It came with a side of fries which were some of the best fries I have ever had. I did not eat many since the pork chop was so big and I was so excited to eat that. I took them home and my son devoured them. My friend had the Pollo Alla Piastra which looked delicious and she loved every bite of it. We shared the Tiramisu which was fabulous. It was a quiet night and we had a blast. The staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back.

We worked with Antonio to cater a birthday party and we couldn’t have been happier! All night, guests were saying how good the food was and asking where we’d gotten it. Antonio was super helpful in guiding our menu selection; he was so flexible in accommodating various dietary needs; and he and his team handled set-up efficiently and beautifully. Five stars all around!

Hey! We visited Cafe Piazza for the first time since we moved to Montgomery. Going by reviews on Google we were excited to eat here. Though the food and ambience was nice but the service was disappointing and unpleasant. Despite clearly telling the person taking our order to suggest a dish with a small portion size, we were served full portion. Sadly, there was leftover and we paid for a full dish that we couldn’t consume.

We had a party today for about 25 people at Caffe Piazza and Antonio and the staff went above and beyond to give us an exceptional experience. Antonio was available to chat on the phone and via email to help plan the menu and all the party details. The food was delicious and everyone raved to us about all the different appetizers and the main courses. We really felt like Antonio wanted to give us the best experience possible as if it was a party for his own family. I would definitely recommend hosting your next event here - the food and service were incredible!

BYOB restaurant. The tomato sauce was very good as was the complimentary bread. The pasta was served perfectly Al dente. The chicken parm entree was very good with a thick piece of chicken and the meatballs were very good. The Eggplant entree was disappointing. It turned out to be rollatini just like the appetizer except presumably a larger portion. While it was covered in thick cheese the eggplant itself was paper thin and this dish consisted mostly of stuffing and a cheese mixture. To make matters worse it was not served hot. It came across as microwaved with pockets of cold and warm although I cannot attest to this. The tartufo dessert was very good. Service was very average with no smiles and we barely got up to leave when they were already clearing our table for resetting. Would probably look elsewhere next time despite a couple of good dishes.
