The food here is INCREDIBLE--healthy, delicious and good portion size! The gentleman who took care of us was so nice, the restaurant is clean and tidy, and the fire roasted peppers were a treat! Food, service and ambience--all top rate!

We stopped by on our way and didn't expect this small place to have such good, tasty and fresh Mediterranean food. The order taker was friendly and nicely explained menu items. Seating place is average but for the kind of food absolutely perfect. Definitely a place to return for some halal Mediterranean food.

I ordered the Lamb Gyro and the taste reminded me of my time in the Middle East.I have eaten many gyros from many restaurants but the Gyro from here tasted exactly like in the Middle East.Kudos to the owner for getting the authentic taste to New Jersey!

El Wadi is absolutely delicious! The staff are super friendly and remember my friend and I every time we go in. We both love to get the el wadi special. She gets it as is, I swap the rice for lettuce. It is amazing. Wonderful chicken shwarma, and the falafel bites are amazing. Prices are very reasonable and the place is relaxing and welcoming. We just love it for lunch or a light dinner. I have to try more menu items, I'm sure they are as delicious as the shwarma.

These people have integrity. They accidentally gave me the wrong order when I picked up my food. When I got home I had someone calling, so I answered. The owner was apologizing that they have given me the wrong bag, but they insisted they would deliver the correct order to me right away and wanted to know where to drop it. (We of course didn’t let him deliver it, we instead picked it up) The owners are WONDERFUL.The food is DELICIOUS!!!! They have options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. I look forward to coming here going forward!

Tried the El Wadi Special platter (lamb gyro, chicken shawarma, 2 falafel)Good sized servings, the white sauce was a little bland compared to other places but really liked the garlic sauce. Hot sauce was nice and hot.Plan to visit again and try a Fat Sandwich and the Buy One Get One 50% chicken gyro sandwich special.
