Stopped by Five Guys in Hillsborough, NJ on my lunch break and had a great experience. It wasn’t too busy, and I got my order pretty quickly. The burger was fresh and juicy, the fries were hot and generous, and everything tasted high quality. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Definitely a great lunch spot!

usually the food was great at this location, but this time I took a bite of my burger and pulled out a hair. my partner also found hair in the fries. they said we had to come in person for a refund, and didn’t believe a word I said and rudely refunded me. I appreciate the refund, but not how they made me feel like an awful person for rightfully wanting a refund after not eating my meal.

This is my second bad experience at 5G. This time, while ordering through DoorDash, I ordered probably the easiest order one could come up with. Two hot dogs, one cheeseburger and a small cajun fries. The hot dogs were smothered in mustard. To the point that I had to remove the GOBS of mustard by using four napkins. The fries had all escaped out of the cup they were poured into , were soggy and cold. Amazingly enough, it was 20 minutes from when I received the confirmation from DD to the delivery being placed at my front door. What a letdown. Maybe a few fries would shift out of the bag like like McD's, but every single one was at the bottom of my bag and COLD. I wrote the same review on DD and I don't blame the driver. I blame a place that just doesn't care because the food is subpar (again), messy, overpriced, and obviously anyone overseeing the quality or the way the orders are packed and shipped should be ashamed. Lastly, I watch in restaurants and convenience stores when they are preparing DD orders and they seem to have pride as if it doesn't matter that someone else is delivering it, but you still made it for a customer. A customer that pays your check and keeps the doors open. Regardless of where it's getting ordered from. Shame on management and the staff for not caring about the quality of your work.

I usually don’t write about franchises, but this Five Guys is worth mentioning. They cook their burgers to perfection – juicy and delicious with fresh meat. Plus, the unlimited peanuts are a nice touch. The fries are a bit salty and greasy, but even a small size is generous enough for two or three people. I also tried the chocolate with Oreo cookies shake, which was a bit too sweet. It could be healthier with more peanut butter or dark chocolate and less added sugar. Conveniently located at the corner of a local outdoor market in Hillsborough, next to Route 206. The staff is friendly, and there’s plenty of seating both inside and outside.
