unabashedly political ownership

Been going here for years. Must be new owners. Horrible food. Threw most of it away. Lunch with 3 adults and two toddlers came to $70. Never going back. Used to be busy all the time. Seemed strange that only a few people were there. Now I know why. Don’t waste your time or money.

I ordered breakfast with
Avocado on the side, the avocado I received was rotten. The response I got from the diner was" we took it off the bill.", i was expecting an apology. It's not a matter of money. I swallowed a piece of it and i'm afraid to be sick.

I was there for a quick coffee stop. There is a nice selection of cakes.

Very inconsistent. I regularly order for delivery. Nine times out of ten, there will be an item (soup of the day or pitas) missing from the order. Today I ended up paying over $30 for a Greek salad and, because I asked for additional salad dressing, they charged me another $1.00. The dine-in quality of the food has recently changed, making me wonder if the owners changed hands. There are better choices in this area, and I won't be ordering from them again.

Not bad but mediocre. Traditional diner food. Worth going if you want to keep it simple plain and affordable. The gyros are good but if you want a tiny side salad instead of the French fries they will charge you $3 extra and they keep the fries. That's high for a tiny substitute side salad.

This is an official old school jersey diner. Very old school ambiance, pretty clean too. Nice staff with friendly service.
The food wasn't bad. Nothing super special. The cheese steak was pretty basic, the onion soup was very salty. But the bacon, eggs and home fries were pretty good. The salad didn’t move me either. But nonetheless I'm not mad about my visit here and would return again. If I could, I'd give them a 3.5, because again the service was very good!!

Used to love this diner. Haven't been there in a few months. Went yesterday and the food was horrible. The eggs were soooo small, they must be using small eggs instead of large eggs. The breakfast potatoes were barely cooked. Toast was fine just under buttered I don't know if I'll go back again. I was so disappointed. Also, the waitress forgot my water. Although the others at my table got their water. SMH.

Nothing like diner French toast! The coffee is on the strong side but that doesn't surprise me as I think there is Greek affiliation. Prices are still reasonable, after all these years. Our neighborhood staple!

Tried Chicken Gyro and Mixed Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, and they were both delicious. Our server Ingee was polite and professional, and the food was enjoyable. I will definitely come back.
