It was my first time here and we went with friends. All I can say is the food was so delicious and the portions were great and I was glad to take home a doggy bag. I traveled about 45 miles to get to it and I can tell you I would definitely go back there again. Regardless of distance it was well worth it. Service was great too and the atmosphere was very nice

We used to be regular customers, going back at least 10+ years. The food used to be good. No more. This place is ripe for a Kitchen Nightmares appearance. Gordon Ramsay would have a FIT.
The inside is drab and dreary, the tables are tiny, and the chairs are wobbly. It’s cold inside even after asking for it to be turned up. There was some horrendous music playing far too loudly. The place was EMPTY on a Friday night at 5pm.
The average age of the clientele is senior citizen or close and it shows, NOTHING has any taste anymore.
Firstly, the French fries. They used to be huge curly steak fries. Now they’re garbage frozen junk that’s overcooked. I had fish and chips, no flavor. The batter was okay. Another person in my party had chicken parmigiana. It was rubbery, overcooked and clearly microwaved. And then the worst of it all, the poki bowl or whatever it’s called. The seaweed was sour and the entire thing tasted off.
The general manager has the gall to come over and say the chef tasted it and it was fine. OKAY THEN, go make some other people sick! You don’t have a chef, you have a microwave and some guy who has no idea what he’s doing.
The replacement dishes of “filet mignon sliders” and Nashville sliders were equally dreadful and tasteless.
Absolutely NOT. Never again. It’s not worth dealing with the MESS that is Route 206 to come here.
I used to always enjoy the pasta in vodka sauce. Even that went down the drain lately.

Great food and friendly staff! Would have been 5 stars but I hate when restraunts charge you a fee to use a credit card. I get why they do it but it still stinks.
I had been to the New Brunswick Old Man Rafferty's several times. This was my first time at the Hillsborough location. I was very impressed with the ambiance and the food was both presented in the most artistic design and the flavors were scrumptious 😋 😀
It used to be much better. Decided to try it after many years and wasn’t worth going back. Went out with another couple for Saturday lunch. Server was wonderful! The meals weren’t anything to speak of. My chicken pot pie $20 was nothing more than frozen vegetables, no more than 2 ounces of chicken and a fancy top. Looked and tasted like soup. Management didn’t go ask customers how the food was- I guess they already knew. Desserts were the typical ones that are frozen and over priced.
Worst steak I've ever had.

Their menu has a ton of options and you get a large portion of food for the price. The chicken parm sandwich was awesome and I really liked the dark side of the moon desert to finish the meal. Friendly service, lots of parking, and great food.
Sat inside on a Saturday night. Live music, but not overpowering. Big menu, all looked good.
Split a tomato basil soup, fantastic.
Mac and cheese, very good.
Stuffed shells were fantastic. Sauce was as good as the shells.
Outside seating looked very nice.
I highly recommend this place the parking at church street was convenient a 2 minute walk around the corner , the foods and drinks were top notch delicious and refreshing, if your ever looking to go out on a date night this is the place
