I used to go to Petrock's all the time until they discontinued my favorite Portobello Sandwich. I struggled to find something else I liked as much so we stopped going for a few years. This year we went back and tried the place again - I found a Portobello Ruben on the menu and tried it. It was good. I was also told I could order the old sandwich even though it was no longer on the menu and I tried that which was ok but not the same. Two nights ago we went for dinner and I ordered the Portobello Rueben again. It came out half burnt. Some people don't mind that smell or taste like my husband but I am unable to eat burnt food. The mushroom was very small and did not even fit on one of the 2 pieces of bread it was served on as open faced sandwich. The other piece of bread was burnt. Parts of the mushroom was burnt so I had to cut that off. There was a smear of sauerkraut on there - not much at all. Our waitress, Tia, did not check how everything came out so I ate as much as I could around the burnt parts. When she did finally come to Check, I showed her what I had cut off and the burnt bread. She said she was sorry that happened and brought the bill. Half of the meal was inedible, the portion size was very small to begin with - much smaller than last time I ordered it - and I left hungry. We paid for a full Meal that I could only eat about half of. Fine, we know it happens but nothing was done about it. We told another waitress that we paid and were not looking for anything but to tell the manager that we won't be back again. She took my phone number and said the manager would call me. No one has. Prices are high, we understand that, but the meal was small, ruined and I left hungry with no resolution. We will go somewhere that does not bring out an obviously burned meal and where there is at least some food on the plate or where there is someone that cares about what happened. Very disappointing.

Good place to unwind and grab a drink after work.
Drunks are good and well made. Nicole, our bartender is friendly and efficient.
The place is clean and well maintained, with outdoor seating and plenty of parking.
Food is also good and made fresh to order.

I hear that wings are awesome - will have to try next time.
If you're hungry or thirsty, good place to visit.

The food was fair, not excellent. Because the desert menu had no prices, we decided not to order dessert.

Decent place for a group of 8 adults. Very attentive service. Good calamari as an appetizer. My pasta dish with veggies was just ok, no flavor. Drinks were very expensive. The rest of the group had burgers. Won't be rushing back. Sorry.

We go here as often as a family of 4. We have become friends with several of the servers and the owner over time. I love the staff, and love the atmosphere, and the food is very good. I find it a tad on the pricey side for what it is, but you have to take the good with the bad.

Parking: Plenty of parking - never an issue

Kid-friendliness: Very accomodating to our kids, they have a kid menu as well

My wife and I ordered t-bone steaks medium. They came out so rare, they looked like they were passed through a warm room quickly. When I mentioned to the waitress that we are new in town and it was our first visit and we were disappointed they did not even offer us a drink or a dessert. Just said maybe next time we try the burgers or the fish tacos. I don't think so.
I told a few friends this story, and 3 of them said, "Oh, THAT place. Forget about it. They're terrible and they don't care."

Got our appetizer order in but then was completely forgotten about for the next 30 minutes. Never had the opportunity to place our entrée order which was incredibly frustrating for my pregnant wife then had to go inside to even pay my bill only to find out there's no manager even on shift. We got better service at Applebee's.
