The tandoori Kababs, chicken and Naan bread are all exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The blends of spices and clay oven make for an authentic South Asian/M0ghul cuisine. Should a preference arise for curry the goat korma is also very good. The clientele is mostly South Asian which is always a good sign for credentials. Despite pressure the owner makes a genuine effort at remaining courteous and professional.

I am new to the Hillsborough area and located Punjab Halal meat market this is a Family owned business . The best Halal butcher that I have ever had the pleasure of supporting . Very clean place and people are very friendly and courteous. I buy goat and I get good meat here. One of the clean butcher shops that I have seen.

Halal meat cut to order. I wish they would be a bit more hygenic when handling meat packaging for customers. I see them not wearing gloves and use the same hands from handling meat to packing the customer order to handling the cash register. So many possibilities for cross contamination. Otherwise the quality of the meats has been reliable and consistent so far.

I went there for the first time to get some goat meat on Saturday. Kind of hard to navigate to the store, there is a sign board on top of the building but when we got there... the first thing (with open door ) we saw was smoke shop. Shop is in left , with no- proper sign to help get there. I got 3 lbs of mixed goat. Goat meat had strong smell, pieces were rather small and all pieces were mostly bone. I still could not determine whether the smell from meat was smell of meat going bad or something else. Not impressed at all. I heard mixed opinion from my friends as well. I haven't tried anything else here so my review is based on mixed goat meat purchase.

Their prices are three times higher than those of other places. They are extremely rude, and if you confront them about their prices, they claim to be the only ones offering Zabiha Halal meat, while labeling all other sources as providing Haram meat. I will never visit their place again due to their poor customer service and disrespectful communication.More than half of your reviews state that you are expensive and rude. So, I guess instead of stating false facts, calling people names, and being proud with the false thinking that every other meat shop is garbage and yours is the most reliable, it’s high time you change your attitude and prices.

It is a blessing to have Punjab Halal meat shop that sells excellent quality certified Halaal meat.Punjab Halaal meat is unlike other meat shops that use the label of Halaal to do business only, when in fact they are not Halaal in reality.In addition, the staff and owner Mr Asif are honest, reliable and friendly.I will strongly recommend Punjab Halaal Meat to every one.

Great service, organic zabiha halal meat with reasonable pricing.

I made couple of purchased of goat meat from the place, but the price is really high at this place. Also the quality of the meat is not consistent, some time you get lots of bones and some time not.The owner is kind but it’s difficult to buy the meat at high price while not getting quality meat.

Prices are high, for mutton they charge you for a whole leg instead of having it in pieces. The male owner is extremely rude ! The wife and son provide friendly service but last visit I was served by the father and that walked out because of his rudeness. The new Shop (next to the old Pizza Hut) in Hillsborough (Desi Halal Meat & Fish) is awesome - clean, great prices, fresh meat and great customer service - my new GO TO for fresh meat!!!

This place started a takeout buffet on weekends (looks like a butcher shop). Not a fancy place but was very clean and I was blown away by their food. I tried chicken and goat kebab, chicken tikka, goat biryani, haleem and goat stew. If you are a biryani, goat curry, kebabs fan do NOT miss this takeout place! I paid around 26 dollars for a generous amount of food and the owner insisted on making fresh naans for me to take. Move over Edison, I think I have found my food fix right here in Hillsborough! The person I spoke with (I think the owner) was very nice and constantly asked me what we prefer so that he can make more of those things. Try it and decide for yourself. I am a foodie and I can tell you this place is legit!
