Delicious! We moved to Hillsborough recently and have been on the hunt for the best pizza/hot sub place in the area. Everyone raves about Joe’s but Roman’s Gourmet blows Joe’s out of the water. Great food and reasonable pricing! Will keep returning. Thank you Roman’s Gourmet!!

We had our Halloween party catered from Roman Gourmet and our guests were SO happy with the food! All night everyone kept bringing up how delicious it was; from the garlic knot chicken parm sliders to the penne vodka. Even the kids asked where the pizza was from. We ordered trays of Antipasto, Penne Vodka, Chicken and eggplant Focaccia, Chicken Francese, two plain pizzas, and two trays of Garlic Knot Chicken Parm Sliders. One tray of sliders was with vodka sauce and the other was marinara. It was unbelievable and our guests favorite! The flavor of the Chicken Francese was my personal favorite as it was lemony, lightly breaded, and cooked beautifully. Every bite was extremely flavorful with well thought out, fresh ingredients. We can’t wait to order again!

I ordered pasta and soda from Uber eats. The pasta packaging was a mess. There was sauce leaking out of the container . That would be okay but then they messed up my soda order. I ordered 2 liter soda and only got 25 oz soda.... I don't think I'll buy from there again. I mean I paid extra for the soda..

Never have I given any restaurant anything other than a 5 star review because in my mind, that is just the right thing to do. And if I do have a poor experience somewhere, I will always keep it to myself, because that is also just “what you do”. However, this place may be the only exception I will ever make for this rule because everyone deserves a heads up about how unprofessional and unhospitable this staff operates. Without any exaggeration, it was the least hospitable place I have ever been. As soon as we entered, the staff didn’t greet us and we just stood around until we asked if we could seat ourselves. The whole time the staff just stared at us like they didn’t even know what to do when people walk into a restaurant. We were the only people inside and ordered a simple two slices, garlic knots and mushroom soup. There were three people behind the counter and they all heard/took the order, but they still only brought out the 2 pizza slices and forgot about the rest. After about fifteen minutes into our meal we politely asked if they could check if the rest of our food was almost ready which caught them completely off guard. At that moment they started putting the garlic knots into the oven and the one young lady brought out our soup and apologized, to which we thanked her and told her it was no problem at all and not to worry.

However, we noticed we werent served any spoon with our soup so we went up to the counter and kindly asked the gentleman who we thought was the cook for a spoon to which he nastily snapped at my fiance for even asking the question (since it was on top of the counter). At this point we were a bit frustrated but hey -everyone has their bad days so we ignored it and just continued on with our time there. As if things couldn’t get any worse, it most certainly could and did. Things took a really bad turn when the main cashier / young lady sat on top of the counter tops and started to spray this strong glass cleaner all over the pizza’s display case literally right in front of where we were sitting (we were the closest table across from the display case). The cleaning mist quickly caught onto the fans above, sprayed all over our food, and went straight up our noses and mouths. All you could smell or taste was that cleaner to the point it was making us gag as we were trying to quickly finish our food. At this point we were genuinely shocked that someone could be that oblivious to basic courtesy and restaurant norms. That was the last straw we could handle before this whole ordeal was seriously wearing us out. I completely understand if a staff has closing responsibilities, because they’re just doing their jobs. But this was beyond one or two little mishaps that you could easily look past. This staff was incapable of doing anything past the bare minimum or even pretending to care that guests should receive a basic level of human respect.

Lastly, the food was very mediocre at best with stale and slightly burnt pizza. But as we all know, that doesn’t really matter in the end when a restaurant has a strong, hospitable staff representing their business. This eatery, however, made us wish we had prepared ourselves for one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had anywhere.

The food here is actually decent. Not the greatest but acceptable. What's not acceptable is the staff. I phoned in order for a sausage pepper and onion stromboli. It's clearly listed on their menu as a sausage pepper and onion stromboli. The girl on the phone paused and asked me again what i wanted. No problem, i told her again. She tells me 15 minutes. I go there in 15 minutes. The music was at NYC club levels, bass booming from a DJ in the corner. Mind you this is at 9pm and noone is there except me. Still had to wait another 10 minutes. With no other customers there that's a little annoying but whatever. So i get my food and the girl rings me up. The menu clearly states the price of a sausage pepper and onion stromboli as $9.45. She charges me $13.32. Again, annoying but whatever. Just want my food. I get home cut it open and it's pepperoni. I hate pepperoni. Call them up and they're closed. So i was over charged for food i didn't order and didn't eat. Wont be back

I recently visited this local pizza restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The pasta, wings, and soup were all delicious and perfectly portioned. The pasta had a great texture and was cooked to perfection. The wings were juicy on the inside, with a flavorful sauce that added the perfect amount of heat. The soup was comforting and packed with flavor. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for their delicious and well-portioned pasta, wings, and soup.

Had a great experience with the owner of this place. He takes care of his customers. Definitely will be my go to pizza spot from now on. Knocks all the other local food places out of the park.

Slow service, and unfriendly. Had given three stars because I understand it can get busy but then when I politely asked how much longer they were quite rude... When I arrived 18:50 they told me four more minutes. It's now 19:11 and still no small pizza and garlic knots.
