“Foods tasted good but it was too spicy for me even though I asked them to make it less spicy. I think the dishes ate too spicy for many people who are not accustomed to spicy food.”

“Enjoyed lunch at Mike's Deli. Food was great, even though they had an unexpected large order we were served in a timely manner and staff apologized for the delay. I highly recommend for a good lunch break at a good price. Sue Behm”

“Dined at Fig and Tomato on a Wednesday night with my wife. Started with the most delicious flatbread with an oil spread. Wife had a large portion of chicken Milanese with delicious burrata on top. I ate the chicken Amalfi with sausage and hot peppers. Had a perfect amount of heat and beautiful thin cutlet. Ended with homemade ice cream trio which was amazing. Waitresses did a great job keeping our meal very well timed. We’ll be back very soon.”
“This place has the absolute best bagels anywhere. Everyone there is so nice and friendly.”

They very friendly and warm. It was a most enjoyable dinner. We have ordered food to takeout but hadn't been inside the restaurant since the pandemic.... We will definitely go again soon. “We had a family dinner at Rockin Roots as the kick off to an event filled weekend. We wanted something more casual and fun with an elevated twist. We worked with Mike and he came up with a perfect menu to make our picky kids and adult foodies happy. When we arrived the table was set and delicious appetizers were ready to go!! They were followed by a delicious meal of chicken, salmon and awesome sides. Everyone had a great time and raved about the food.”
“Wonderful place, great Dive bar, could not be more friendly. We were from out of town, stumbled in, and Cindy, the owner, was so great and welcoming 🙏. We might be going back tomorrow for St Patrick's Day. You won't be disappointed.”

“Garlic knot sliders were really good and a standout from your average pizza place. Also locally sourced sodas were really nice and complemented the meal perfectly. Otherwise standard takeout pizza vibes with seating available for eat-in”
“This is a nice GC store with space available for dine-in. The looks clean and cozy. They have several board games available too for guests to play while waiting or handing out in the store. They also have a small merchandise shelf that has unique GC products.
The menu had all of the popular drinks. We ordered the strawberry milk tea with bubbles and black tea through the kiosk. The drinks were ready in couple of minutes. Both drinks were really tasty. Bobas were soft and chewy too.
There was only one associate at the store but he was managing all the orders efficiently. Did a wonderful job with the strawberry milk tea. I have never seen anyone put the strawberry syrup so nicely all around the cup. It looked so nice and I had shake it so many to mix it with the milk.”

“Osso Bico is one of our favorite restaurants. Owner, Randy, and bartender Ray make us feel like family when we come in. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious and the service is the best. Osso Buco is one of the best Italian restaurants in northern Jersey. And that is saying something”

“Been ordering here for months now and plan to keep ordering. The food is so good, generously portioned and reasonably priced. I'm used to NYC bodegas and this place meets that level of quality!”

“Was looking for a coffee shop near my errands and found this! The shop is really welcoming and cute. Baristas are all really nice and seem to know their locals. I ordered their seasonal special banana bread latte (iced and with oat milk) and it was really good !! I overheard them say they make most of their syrups and use only organic ingredients. It’s obvious that they care about their products. It was nice to just sit and read for a bit. Music was also good!”
“Been getting food from here for so many years and it is always good and consistent. Is it top quality fine dining...no, but its good and anyone ordering should already know it's take-out. Recently moved to another area of Bergen County and OMG there is some really bad Chinese food out there.”

“Upon entering Hunan New Jade Chinese Restaurant, one feels not merely welcomed but gathered in, as though the walls themselves have borne witness to years of shared meals and quiet devotion to the craft of feeding others well. The air carries the perfume of simmering broths and rising steam, rich with promise. This is no hurried hall of convenience, but a place where time slows, where the clatter of plates sounds almost ceremonial, and where hunger is met not with haste but with care.
First came the house special fried rice, arriving like a golden harvest laid before us. Each grain stood proud and separate, yet bound in harmony with its fellows, glistening softly under the warmth of the wok. Shrimp, plump and tender, nestled among morsels of chicken and pork, each cut precise, each bite full of honest savor. Vegetables lent both color and crispness, like jewels scattered through the dish. The seasoning spoke in measured tones, not shouting but persuading, coaxing the palate into lingering appreciation. It was a dish of balance and abundance, one that asked not to be rushed, but honored.
The egg drop soup followed as a gentler verse, a quiet soliloquy of comfort. Pale ribbons of egg drifted through the broth like silk in warm water, delicate yet purposeful. The liquid itself was clear and golden, its flavor subtle but deeply reassuring, as though it knew precisely what it was meant to be. Each spoonful settled the spirit as much as the appetite, a reminder that simplicity, when handled with skill, can be a form of grace.
Then entered the hot and sour soup, bold as a trumpet call and twice as stirring. Steam rose with intent, carrying notes of vinegar sharp enough to awaken the senses and spice that warmed rather than wounded. Tofu, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots formed a chorus of textures, each playing its part. The heat did not overwhelm, nor did the sour dominate, but together they danced, step for step, leaving the tongue alert and eager for what might come next. It was a soup with character, confident and unafraid to be remembered.
The sweet and sour chicken arrived clad in a glossy crimson sheen, a dish as pleasing to the eye as it was to the appetite. Each piece of chicken bore a crisp exterior that yielded with a gentle crackle, revealing meat within that was tender and true. The sauce embraced rather than smothered, its sweetness brightened by tang, its richness lifted by pineapple and vegetables that still held their snap. This was comfort rendered theatrical, familiar yet executed with such care that it felt newly discovered.
Last, and lingering long in memory, was the pineapple fried rice, a dish that carried both warmth and light. The rice, fragrant and well seasoned, played host to bursts of pineapple whose sweetness arrived like sunlight through an open window. Each bite held contrast, savory meeting sweet, softness met by gentle firmness, the whole bound together in a way that felt joyful rather than indulgent. It refreshed even as it satisfied, a rare and welcome feat.
In sum, Hunan New Jade Chinese Restaurant is a place where food is treated not as mere sustenance, but as an offering. Each dish bears the mark of hands that know their work and hearts that respect the table they serve. One does not simply eat here. One partakes, one remembers, and one departs already longing for the hour of return.”
